Aún sigo procesando esta experiencia. Karim tiene un corazón de oro ! Es un excelente anfitrión y cada una de las compañeras que tuve en este voluntariado fueron una maravilla. Tagounite es maravilloso, su gente, sus paisajes, todo! Ojalá puedan ir muchos voluntarios/as para poder terminar pronto el proyecto ! Por mi parte espero poder volver y disfrutar de los atardeceres, el aire y la calma que viví!

Ficar na casa do Karin, foi uma das melhores experiências que tive na vida. Principalmente se o que você estiver buscando for conexão verdadeira com a cultura local e o estilo de vida de um vilarejo do interior do Marrocos. Foram dias divertidos e o trabalho foi leve. Sempre com muito humor e gentileza, Karin, mostra com honestidade sua forma de viver e abre sua vida pessoal. É notável sua simpatia honesta, sempre algum amigo do vilarejo vem à noite para se juntar a fogueira. Conheci outros voluntários incríveis que também pude me conectar verdadeiramente.

I can wholeheartedly recommend staying with Karim. He is an incredibly kind person who is building something positive I was very happy to contribute to. As a host, Karim emphasizes the relationship building aspect of volunteering, always making sure we were having a good experience, introducing us to his friends. The work can be strenuous, but you can always take a break and we only worked a couple hours day usually. We spent a lot of time preparing delicious traditional Moroccan meals which i greatly enjoyed. This is a great opportunity if you are looking for something peaceful.

The farm project is in a small village about a 30 mins walk out of Tagounite 😊. The work was easy, however we expected we would be working along with the host more, instead of doing tasks by over selves. The food was freshly cooked and delicious 😀

My experience at Karin's house was lovely. I got to meet so many amazing people and had a wonderful time sleeping under the stars. There was a very relaxed vibe which made the work super easy and allowed for plenty of free time

I had the absolute pleasure of volunteering at the farm place, helping build mud bricks, and the experience was wonderful. Karim was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, always making sure we had everything we needed, he truly went above and beyond to make my stay as enjoyable as possible, and I loved every moment spent there. I can't recommend volunteering with Karim enough.

Karim is so kind and welcoming! He makes sure volunteers are immersed in local life and culture, introducing us to friends and family, and taking us on outings after work (we spent a night in the desert when I was there). I met many amazing volunteers (wwoofs are hosted as well), and I felt so safe here as a solo female traveler. The work hours are flexible and spontaneous, dinner was usually around 11 for us, so it's probably better for those who don't mind staying up late, and don't need much structure. A HEADS UP there were bedbugs when I was here, feel free to reach out with questions!

I stayed one week at Karims place and it was sooo good. We usually worked 2/3 hours/day (construction of a house) I'd say the work is tiring but you can always have a break in the shadow and drink water. Most evenings we went on little excursions: watching the sunset in the desert, go on a little hike which was so cool because Karim was open to do anything and always came with us. Karim is the absolut best host: kind, funny and open. As a solo woman traveller I felt really safe and looked after. I'm going to come back 100% THANK YOU FOR THIS EXPERIENCE I LOVED IT.
