It was my first experience as a volunteer, I can say that it was reasonable. When I arrived I came across 16 volunteers and it mattered when I noticed that the food they bought was gone in 2 days and I would have to take it out of my pocket to eat. The manager demanded that the volunteers work 8 hours straight with only 30 minutes breaks and that was really exhausting. On the other hand I was able to communicate and practice English with some guests.

Overall I had a great experience, with just a few downsides. We expect the whole shared-room hostel sleeping experience, but sometimes the hosts were not super accommodating when it came to noise, mainly from in-house construction and renovations, considering some volunteers work night shifts. There was also poor communication and planning with sleeping arrangements for volunteers, and the hosts wanted workers to move to another hostel that was under renovation. This other hostel didn't have working Wi-Fi, clean bathrooms or kitchen. We were able to go back to the original location.

We absolutely loved our Experience with the Team and Mario. We will always hang out at the hostel even after we move on. Made some friends for life. Everyone is incredibly nice and invited us everywhere. Mario is awesome, kind, and very patient and fair. Simply put it is. Come and stay here. :)

The team was very welcoming and helpful. The hostel is next to the city center so everything is really close. It's a great choice if you like meeting people from all around the world!

Mario is a great guy who does a good job at managing the hostel. Plenty of opportunities to go out or stay in and still be entertained with bad weather. Working reception or cleaning is fun with the other volunteers and if you need help Mario is always there for you. Thanks for the weeks together!

Wonderful hostel, super clean, super central and super equipped to spend your time if the weather is not the best) nice staff available and very friendly. i will definitely return!
