La experiencia la súper recomiendo, ¿porque? Uno de los pocos host que no abusan de lo que es el programa de voluntarios es; Luis, así que yo hice esta experiencia con mucho gusto porque Luis provee un espacio y ambiente respetuoso, Justo y sano. Las tareas son fáciles y flexibles así que si estás en Cholula este es uno de los voluntarios que te puedo súper recomendar.

La estancia fue muy cómoda, viví en planta baja con algunas roomies, en la planta alta está la parte de la terraza donde se hacen veladas románticas, en la semana tienes tareas diarias como alimentar los pajaritos y los peces y en promedio dos veces a la semana hay velada, entonces se debe tener todo preparado para dicha actividad, el anfitrión fue muy amable y me ayudó en lo que necesite, las tareas te las explica en videos que han dejado otros voluntarios. Fue mi primer experiencia de voluntariado y fue muy grata 🎈

Los anfitriones son super cálidos y siempre buscan planes para compartir momentos de calidad y diversión junto a las roomies! Están super predispuestos a escuchar propuestas y el intercambio. Cholula es un pueblo muy bonito, la casa no esta muy cerca del centro pero nada que unos pasos no resuelvan y el lugar es SUPER tranquilo! Experiencia recomendada!

Luiz and Dulce are exceptionally warm and welcoming! Their sunny, spacious home sits in a friendly, safe neighborhood. This remains my best volunteering experience—having a private room, sharing Chinese lessons, making mooncakes, and exploring local churches and culture with them. Highly recommended for visitors to Mexico, especially freelancers. With their rich background in travel and remote work, Luiz and Dulce offer a perfect space for inspiring conversations.

I absolutely recommend this experience! Dulce and Luis went above and beyond as hosts by showing me the local culture and cuisine, as well as beautiful hiking spots. The accommodations were excellent, and I felt safe in the home/ neighborhood. Cholula and Puebla are amazing places to explore, full of historical architecture and art. I really treasure the time I spent at the guest house :)

I had a great experience with Luis! He made me feel really welcomed and comfortable and did everything to make my experience amazing. I stayed for a month and Luis took me to all kinds of local places to try new foods and immerse myself in the culture of Cholula. I definitely recommend bringing your own sheets and pillowcase and maybe a fan. I also think it's really important to be proficient at Spanish, as during the dinners you will be the only one communicating with the clients. For the dinners, you are in charge of almost everything, which I think is important to know beforehand:)

Avoid bringing a fan Please ensure you select the most appropriate bed sheets for your comfort based on the season I offer options for you to choose from — will you choose to wear a sweater at the beach and use a fan? If customer service or providing attention to guests isn't something you're comfortable with, please let me know in advance!

Being part of a special celebration and receiving thanks for a perfect dinner is one of the most beautiful aspects of volunteering :) :) :) :)

I had a great stay with Luis, i felt very welcomed and comfortable. I had a lot of freedom to do whatever I wanted, and we coordinated schedules to go places together. There was always something to do, and the area is very safe and close to a lot of things:)

The hosts Luis and Dulce were super nice. This was my very first solo trip so I had no clue what to expect. I wished I could've gone with my friends or met other travelers to do the sights more. The room was very nice and comfortable except in the morning and at night. It got a little chilly but they provided me extra blankets. I wished I could've done more for the hosts. And I feel really bad about the bird. I'd definitely love to go back again.

I had a good time at the guest house, the work was easy, mostly house repairs/ upgrades. We were left to manage our own time and projects which I enjoyed but found challenging sometimes as we had little guidance. Luis was a kind host and took us to a few places we wanted to see but we usually only talked to him every few days as he was busy with other projects. The surrounding area is very chill with nice shops and some things to do within walking/ bus distance. There was another roommate that I hardly saw and I spent most of my time with another volunteer which truly made my experience great.

I loved the experience at the guest house, it is definitely a home away from home. I 100% recommend this experience mainly to connect with the local community, learn a lot about the culture, enjoy the food exploring typical dishes from Puebla. The hosts are the best I have had so far, especially Dulce, who I miss a lot, both will always be supporting you in whatever you need in case of doubts.
