Lora was great from the beginning! She's very friendly and funny, and just makes you feel so comfortable there. The tasks were straight forward and she was very easy to work with. I met some amazing people at this hostel and the whole place just feels like a home away from home 🏡 it's a great energy around the whole place and her and her mum have done so much for women in Albania that it's very inspiring. I recommend this experience to anyone who's ready to help her out around this place! Because your actions can go a long way to ease the load for her😊 I hope to be back again!

Absolutely loved my experience with Lora at the hostel I truly felt at home and appreciated every step of the way, the two weeks went by way too quickly and I would recommend this experience to anyone. The host, Lora makes you feel like part of her family and you truly get to experience Albania from a local who genuinely cares and is incredibly well informed. Lora and her team are founders of a women's NGO and it was truly an incredible learning experience volunteering for her. Highly recommend and will definitely come back ❤️❤️

I left early because of abusive behaviour from the host. She was intoxicated on a regular basis and it resulted in mood swings. At times she would say I was doing amazing, and then a switch would flip. She'd say I couldn't do anything right, and threaten hindering my future volunteer opportunities by writing me a poor review. As a first time volunteer I was expected to make up for the hostel having no staff besides the host. Lora provided unclear instructions, and when mistakes were made, she would state that my errors would ruin her business. Please contact me for more information.
