Truly the best! This was my first time using Worldpackers, I'm so glad I did. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, they really treat you like you're part of their family and I'm going to miss them a lot. The work was just like everyone else described, hours are usually only till 2:30, goes faster with more people, and Sundays are usually the busiest days but even then I've never stayed till 4. Although it's a little further from the center of Taipei, I think it's the perfect balance and I loved taking the train in. Highly recommend!

This was my first volunteering experience through Worldpackers and I couldn't have asked for a better one! My 3 weeks at the hostel were some of the most amazing in my life. I truly felt at home and the area where the hostel is located is SO cosy! Plus the staff is so amazing, I truly feel like I've made amazing friends through this experience. I was not sure what to expect but this experience is just amazing, so if you're wondering if this is the place for you, give it a chance! You really won't regret it.

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel Beitou! The staff are so friendly and sociable, and will do their best to introduce you to local foods and customs! The tasks are all fairly simple and easy to learn, and especially in working together with other volunteers and the staff the time flies by! The location in Beitou is also amazing! You have Taipei city centre just a MRT ride away, but can also enjoy Yangming Mountain at the same time. If you enjoy hot springs, Beitou is a lovely choice! I definitely recommend this work exchange!

I enjoyed my stay at the hostel! The team is super cool and will be the first to help you with anything and getting to know Taiwan! Really appreciated all the recommendations and help I got from them. Working hours are from 12 to 16 but usually we ended at around 14.30. The only thing is that it is not always flexible when you have your days off so you end up with no consecutive free days. Beitou is a bit outside of the city so you should count at least 30 min to go to the centre of Taipei.

Volunteering here was fantastic! The tasks were easy, just 3 hours a day, giving you plenty of time to explore the city. It's in a great location near the MRT station, and the staff is super friendly, offering awesome local Taiwanese desserts and recommendations for places to go. I'd suggest anyone join!

I had a great time volunteering here at the hostel! The work was reasonable and not difficult. We would usually finish 2 hours early which leaves plenty of time to explore the city. The hostel is in a great location as well as it is very close to the MRT station. And lastly, the staff were very friendly and would give me recommendations on places to go.

My experience at the hostel was good, the staff are really friendly and had a good time with them however its hard to meet other volunteers because its very a few or just one of us at at time, I think for a short stay it will be better. Overall I enjoy it will miss Sunny and Mia. If u have any questions message me Ill be happy to answer:)
