I'm mixed because I loved spending a week in the hostel, the people are nice, the landscapes magnificent. I was able to participate in a traditional ceremony and make my own coffee. but aside from that the volunteering mission didn't bring me much. the hostel was very dirty when I arrived, I did my best to clean it but I didn't have the necessary equipment. Despite my persistent requests they never gave me a cloth to clean the toilets. I didn't find what I was looking for when I came to volunteer here

This was my first volunteering position and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. For all the 6 weeks of my stay I had the chance to discover local culture, connect with the locals, take part in traditional events, helping to prepare local food and much more. the hostel owns my heart, the Hostel is a very peaceful place with very nice people who I miss a lot, thank you Aja and Ida, Yara and Soleha, Libin and all the people at sama sama, I won't forget the time spent with all of you. Not to forget the volunteers I shared this experience with, you're all in my heart forever❤️

I loved my stay in the hostel so much, I stayed there for 4weeks and I wish I could have stayed longer. Ida and Aja are the kindest people, the food Ida cooks was amazing and also Ara and Us, the two local girls who did an internship there during my stay, are super cute and the other volounteer, Maddi, has my heart! I enjoyed being able to get to know their culture, their way of living, the excellent food and I also tried to learn some Bahasa and Sasak wich was really hard but so much fun at the same time! I would recommend this place to everybody and I will definetely be back!!

I spent only 10 days at the hostel, I wish I've spent more 💛 Truly amazing first worldpackers experience! Since it was low season it wasn't much work I helped around where I could, in return I got insight into the local culture, met the most wonderful local and traveling people and had beautiful nature all around! Libin and the guys always made an effort to provide us opportunities to immerse ourselves in the locals lifestyle, and helped when we needed advice. Truly recommend this position to everyone, definitely for longer period than me if you have the chance! the hostel lives in my heart 💛

I am really grateful for my experience as a volunteer at the hostel. From the moment I arrived, Libin made sure I felt welcomed and included, which made it super easy to settle in. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed and friendly, and you get to experience local life in a way that wouldn't have been possible as a regular traveler. I also had plenty of time to explore the area. I only stayed for one week but wished I could have extended if I had more time. It was a truly rewarding experience, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to volunteer!

Our experience in the hostel was so great. Our mission was take care about Luna, lovely dog . Was a bit challenging because at the beginning Luna was really really shy with us...but day by day everything it went well. Highly recommend!

The hostel is a great place! All the people who work there are welcoming and do anything to help you. The work at the hostel is easy and doable. the hostel Village is great to stay. Would 100% recommend. Thank you!

Really such an amazing place. The guys who work here are awesome and getting to know them has been a highlight of my entire trip. The work is easy and enjoyable because of the staff you work with. The place is so beautiful and a really nice mixture of western travelers and locals. I seriously loved every second here and would highly recommend it!

I dont have words to describe what this last two weeks were like. I had the most amazing time. The vibe of this place and their people is just amazing, you can feel it in the air. I spend this weeks 24/7 in this place sharing my time with the guys and the volunteers (Hannah and Bora i already miss you🥺). I have nothing to say but thank you all, and i hope i can come back sometime. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to be around beautiful nature, peaceful environments and amazing people. Also the guys are the best cookers and the best singers and instruments players🙌🏼🫶
