Foi minha primeira experiência fazendo trabalho voluntário,e acho que por conta do destino eu caí de paraquedas no centro o centro. Quando você entra no estacionamento você já vê uma placa escrito tout le monde est bienvenu(todo mundo é bem-vindo). E quando você começa a conhecer as pessoas do centro de meditação, elas te transmitem uma paz muito grande .As pessoas são leves,e sempre prontas a te escutar ou a ensinar. Muito acima das minhas expectativas,aprendi a cultura budista,e com certeza estou saindo uma pessoa melhor daqui. E fica aquele gosto de querer ficar mais. Com certeza voltarei.

Gyalwang and all the other people were very nice. The work in the kitchen is not too hard and spread throughout the day, alongside the meals. The castle was under construction, which was a bit annoying but will probably be better in the future. The forest right across the street is good for runs and walks, otherwise there is not much near the Center. I knew before that I would sleep in a 6 bed dormitory but it slightly annoyed me anyways, having bunk beds and waking up throughout the night. I really enjoyed the guided 12 o'clock meditations that we got to attend. :)

Such a peaceful and relaxing place! Sadly I could only stay for a week, but I definitely recommend it!

My experience at the Center was inspiring and motivational as they supported and assisted my work in housekeeping and also managing the housekeeping team. The structure is very good and they take it serious but offer good ackommodation and food as well as a nice athmostphere with the nature close by. The people and the place together make this an experience worth having xD

I had a wonderful time at the Center! People are really welcoming and caring, always open to chat with you about anything. It was my first experience with the Center and Buddhism, the environment was so peaceful that I could learn a lot both from the residents and from other travellers. The shifts are generally easy and work hours are respected. Everyone is very understanding and they will explain everything you need to do. You're gonna eat lots of veggies 🌱 The accommodation is cozy and the castle is beautiful. The majority of the teachings are in French (but some in English!). Recommended :)

I had a great experience at KMC ! The place is beautiful, the teachings are interesting, the work is easy and doesn't take long (4-5 hours per day), and the people are kind and funny. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to connect with spirituality and nature :)

One of my favorite volunteering experiences! The people I met at this center were some of the kindest most genuine people I have come across. They really prioritize your personal well-being and are always checking in making sure you feel comfortable and care about their volunteers truly! The work is very straightforward and easy and agreed upon working hours was always respected! I would absolutely recommend this center :)

Wow. Just wow! If you want to feel useful - if you love being around respectful people - volunteer here. I met fantastic people attending retreats. I met amazing volunteers from all over the world who have become friends. I worked in two departments. First the kitchen. I learned different techniques to serve up large lunches and dinners. I did gardening They pay sattention to the environment and to keeping the smallest animal and insect safe through environmentally safe procedures. I was lucky to help with placing 250 plants The feeling of being welcome was great!

The experience at KMC was great! Work was fairly easy, and working hours were very well respected. Everyone was super friendly, I met lovely people, and we were quite a large group of volunteers. Great experience overall! I'm thankful to everyone at KMC!
