Tuve unos días increibles con Thierry y su sobrino en el sur de Francia, ambos fueron excelentes host y se preocuparon de mi en todo momento. El lugar este en medio la casa naturaleza y es perfecto si estas buscando desconectar un poco de las grandes ciudades. Las tareas son diversas dependiendo lo que Thierry requiera pero yo me lo pasé genial (sobretodo con el tractor para cortar el cesped). Pude practicar francés, conectar con la cultura local y aprender de jardinería que no me había tocado hacerlo antes. Recomiendo!

Fue una experiencia estar con Thierry en la casa, fueron unos días increíbles que si o si los repetiría, Thierry es una super buena persona y te enseña todo lo que tienes que hacer, respeta mucho los horarios de trabajo y siempre se preocupa por tu comodidad

Fue mi primer voluntariado y ha sido la mejor experiencia, compartí mucho con Thierry y sus amigos, salimos a fiestas y a conocer lugares, en cuanto al trabajo, el te enseña si no sabes y siempre es correcto con los horarios, luego del trabajo puedes practicar con cualquiera de sus instrumentos musicales y por supuesto el Jam con Thierry siempre es divertido. Lo mejor es que te enseña francés si quieres aprender.. Merci Thierry Au revoir

The experience was wonderful! Thierry is a great host and made me feel very welcomed into his house and also his town. The property has a distinct beautifulness, fully emerged into nature. On the exterior part, there is a big garden with a vast variety of trees, plants and animals. On the interior part, the house feels like a little art museum. From the music collection to the paintings/drawings on the walls or even the furniture, everything is eye appealing and has a little story attached to it. The tasks are fairly simple and just require communication effort from both sides.

I stayed with Thierry for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The place is surrounded by nature, peaceful and perfect to disconnect. I helped with gardening, cleaning, and small tasks. Thierry is a great host and cook, always kind and respectful. We had interesting conversations and I felt at home from day one. His dog Willow is adorable and playful. It was my first volunteering and I'm very grateful for this beautiful experience! Merci, Thierry! ☺️

I had a great time working at Thierry's place, very relaxing and amazing food. Good to connect with nature and the work isn't too difficult, he has a large property with many projects to help with and a dog that loves to play around with you. Definitely recommend it!

All they said about Thierry's house is true; it is a surreal experience. And if you're looking for your first volunteer, please consider this one. The place is huge, full of life, good weather, and vegetation. He is a great chef, all of the meals are delicious. His dog Willow loves playing, he's the best. You are near a lot of towns and because Thierry is very popular, you will always be meeting new people everywhere. The work sometimes demands more physical activity, but he does a great job explaining. Best month ever, merci Titi! Thierry is incredibly kind and has great conversations.

Thierry's place is a true gem! From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. Thierry himself is a fantastic host – kind, respectful, and an all-around wonderful person. Beyond his warm hospitality, he's a remarkably talented musician (especially his harmonica playing!) and a fantastic chef. The company was just as delightful, including the adorable Willow (a beautiful Swiss Shepherd 🐺) and the playful Janice (a sweet cat 😺). As a first-time volunteer, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The tasks were manageable, and Thierry generously thought me some valuable skills.

Thierry was like a really cool uncle to me. I recommend this experience to others highly, considering the work was varied and interesting but not too difficult, the hours are not too long, he speaks english well, and Thierry is a really good cook. Before volunteers apply, they should know Thierry usually accepts men because the work can be difficult and dangerous for women. We didn't always see eye-to-eye, but I still enjoyed our conversations and I think Thierry is kind and charitable as long as you're not overly sensitive to his sharp, enthusiastic personality)

Thierry was a fantastic host a true Renaissance man and a genuinely wonderful person. The work was manageable and fulfilling, and our time together flew by. One of the absolute highlights was Thierry's incredible cooking, as well as the company of his lively Swiss Shepherd, Willow. The estate is nestled deep in the countryside, which offers peace and natural beauty, though it can feel a bit isolating at times. That said, it's an ideal place if you're looking to unplug, connect with nature, and enjoy good food and conversation.
