I loved working at Jan Ove's apple farm!! It was definitely hard work picking the farm every day, but I had a great time with my fellow volunteers who I now call my friends! Our accommodation was great and we got to try a lot of new foods. I wished I got to experience making the farm, but we were there during apple picking season so that was the main job. If you're prepared to work hard and eat yummy the farm then this is the place for you!

It was my first worldpackers experience and I enjoyed every minute of it, from the apple picking to the hikes. The farm is located in such an amazing area I wish I could have stayed longer. The agreed-upon working hours were respected and I felt respected. I would definitely recommend working with Jan Ove.

Amazing experience with wonderful people in one of the most beautiful spots I've ever travelled! Working hours were respected and broken up by group mealtimes, accommodation was cozy, and there are many nearby hikes to explore. Sometimes communication about the tasks was lacking when you first start the day/new task, but as long as you ask questions, enthusiastic help is readily available! Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to get their hands dirty and learn about the farm, sustainable agriculture....and prepare to become an avid the farm convert, ha! Thank you so much!!

Staying at Jan Ove's farm was the best first Worldpackers experience I could ask for. I met one of the best people there, explored nature and learnt so much about the farm, the farm Jan Ove's work. Thanks to Jan Ove for teaching us new things, telling us about Norway's traditions, history. Would definitely recommend to go there. Plus there is a lot of staff the farm fresh apple the farm 🍎👍

My time with Jan Ove was truly amazing! I learned a lot about picking plums the farm, making the farm selling it. I got in contact with international volunteers, laughed a lot and loved the atmosphere at the farm! We had a lot of free time in the afternoons, went for some hikes (which are not that close but doable) and even went on a boat trip. I got definitely more than I expected in advance and gladly extended my stay. I definitely recommend the farm to other volunteers and will come back one day! Thanks for an amazing time ☺️

We had a great time working at the farm! We were there during the apple-season and spent most of our time picking the farm — which was hard work but also a lot of fun! The view from the apple fields was amazing and we got along great with the other volunteers, it's been a long time since we laughed this much:) We also got to help making the farm/the farm attended two the farm festivals which was both fun and educational. We felt respected and Jan-Ove always listened to what we had to say. In our free time we explored the area, went on hikes, baked, read and cuddled with the kittens!
