Martha is a kind and very generous host. I really enjoyed my time in Puyo. I've felt right at home which is testamount to Martha's hospitality. It's a cosy home with a beautiful garden. Her two dogs are very friendly and cute. Any questions at all you may have, Martha is right there to help. Tasks are very simple and the hours flexible making it easy to explore Puyo- which there is alot to see! Buses stop right outside the house so getting into and out of the town centre is very easy and only 40 cents. It's also very easy to get to Martha's house as again it is right besides a bus stop :) .

My experience at Martha's place was amazing. Martha is really kind and makes me feel home here. Her garden is huge and very special, there a lot of plants and flowers so if you love nature, this is the place to stay also Puyo is nice town to explore around. I highly recommend to be a volunteer at Martha's place :)

My stay with Martha was an amazing . They hospitality made me feel right at home and I felt I am part of family -not as a volunteer. Marta is very kind , hospitable , caring, warm -hearted host/ mother.I got very delicious breakfasts in every morning. The house is beautiful, quiet . Garden is wonderful and beautiful . It's was absolutely amazing experience. Thanks you so much David , he hosted me also in Quito . Thank a lot Martha and David for your hospitality, kindness,generosity and your time . Martha is really kind and warm-hearted host. She reccommended us what to see in the area. She provided clean and private accommodation with private bathroom. We got amazing breakfast in every moring, that Martha prepared. The house is close to the city center by bus. Buses are comming often. We worked with orchids. We took pictures about the flowers and made a catalogue. Also we uploaded to social media sites and wrote a description to each one. Working hours were flexible here. We are really reccommend to be a volunteer at Martha's casa. We would stay more if we could.

The home's garden is a special place. Here you will feel at home, as if you're part of a family — not as if you're a volunteer. The house is quiet and relaxing, save for when we all gathered around to eat and talk! I recommend speaking beginner to intermediate Spanish in order to get to know the family. I got to choose my own hours of gardening (3 hours a day weekdays) outside of my remote working schedule. When work is over, there are many places to see in and around Puyo. You can easily take the bus to Puyo city center for 40 cents. I recommend going to el paseo de los monos :)
