I had an amazing experience here at the hostel, all the staff were so kind and open to feedback. It was super social and easy to meet people from around the world. The only problem was the air conditioning in the room as it made a few of us sick but they have since cleaned it so hopefully wont be an issue! Would definitely recommend for solo travelers 🩷🩷

I had an incredible time at the hostel. Every single member of staff is an absolute delight! The location is super and the benefits of being a volunteer are fantastic. The volunteer dorm was disappointing but I believe they are renovating it. The thing I really appreciated, was the management always responded well to constructive feedback and really want to ensure that you have a positive experience. I will miss the team and would definitely return to the hostel

An amazing hostel with even more amazing people. The work at the bar is fun and not too stressful, even though it is usually quite full and you always meet super fun people from all over the world. Apart from the bar they also have good food and the hosts are flexible if you want to do some excursión etc. And let you change your shift.

Tive um mês no the hostel e foi incrível! Foi essencial pra mim estar em um lugar tão acolhedor, aconchegante e com uma equipe incrível, uma energia que só vivendo pra saber ✨💞 nunca achei que fosse praticar tanto inglês e espanhol em um lugar só hahah recomendo pra todo mundo viver essa experiência. Vou sentir muita saudade das amizades que eu fiz, mas tenho certeza que vou reencontrar todos ✨💌 obrigada a gerência e equipe do the hostel pelo carinho nesse último mês :)

I had the best time volunteering at the hostel! The staff and management were amazing, super friendly and flexible with my schedule. I made so many friends, and exploring Rio was so easy with the hostel located a block from the beach! I definitely want to come back in the future :)

Often, we only realize how special an experience was once it's over. During my stay at the hostel, I felt lucky every day. The hostel feels like a big family, where everyone welcomes you warmly and makes you feel at home from the start. Besides its perfect location in the hostel, the hostel offers many activities and opportunities to meet people. A special thank you to the staff, especially the manager, who is not only excellent at his job but also a wonderful person. Thanks for making a dream come true by letting me be part of the team. Simplesmente O MELHOR LUGAR DO MUNDO! Eu vim pro o hostel já sabendo que era legal e concorrido mas ainda sim minhas expectativas foram superadas. Além de ser lindo, do lado da praia e MUITO bem localizado, tem socialização e festas todos os diaaas! Mas a MELHOR parte é a energia surreal desse lugar… aqui parece que tudo é mais leve e alegre e você fica contagiado por essa magia no ar. Sou extremamente grata pela oportunidade de estar aqui e até estendi minha estadia hahaha. AMO e recomendo!

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel. The location is perfect, only 2 minutes from the hostel beach away and walkable to many things. You get free entry to many clubs, which even enriches this experience! I felt very warm welcomed and accepted very quickly by the employees. If you need specific changes in the schedule, there were always making it possible. I enjoyed every day here and will definitely come back!

Marie was an incredible volunteer, we would definitely recommend her. She helped us a lot!! both in bar duties at night and leading activities for our guests in the morning.
Very smiling and kind, making it a nice experience for everyone.

Minha experiência no hostel foi incrivel, desde a conexão com a equipe e com os hóspedes, café da manhã, instalações, tarefas. Conheci gente que vou levar pra vida toda e tive muitas experiências legais que o próprio hostel proporciona como festas e passeios em grupo. Recomendo e espero poder voltar em breve.

My experience at the hostel was incredible. I connected with many people from different parts of the world, and the most fun part was all the parties. This hostel has a party every day. If you are a foreigner looking for a party and to meet people, this place is definitely for you.
