La Experiencia

Dwell is a co-living and co-working located in Fenais da Luz, a quiet village on Sao Miguel Island (Azores, Portugal). Our guests are remote workers. We need someone who is a SOCIAL LEADER, open, loves spending time with others, experience in arranging activities and loves helping others come out of their shell and connect. The coliving was simply amazing. I have never experienced true the the coliving before but being part of that community and meeting many interesting and inspiring people was something so valuable. The hours were as we talked about and agreed on before and really manageable. There was plenty of time exploring the island or - if you want to work on your construction skills - helping out at another project. Ania and Charlie were the best hosts. They are so welcoming, supporting and caring! They make the place and the whole trip so special and I am so happy I got to know them. I would come back any time!

I stayed 3 months in the coliving. It was a wonderful and rich experience. The hosts are very friendly, attentive and they really care about the volunteers opinion and feelings. The atmosphere in the house is very dynamic and you definitely need to be prepared to socialize a lot! In the summer there are new guests in the house every week. The work is made with freedom to you organize yourself to do your tasks, which is very good for me. The room in the apartment is very cozy and I already miss the view to the ocean every morning. And the island is stunning!! Im very glad that I had this opportunity💙

After volunteering in other places, this has been the best experience I've ever had!🥺 the coliving is an amazing place to stay, disconnect, and focus on your work or personal projects while you explore the island with the guests and the owners. The volunteer work is easy to follow and flexible, and the owners are incredibly kind!❤️ I will never forget all the dinners and moments we shared together—every day was a new adventure with amazing people. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the opportunity to stay and help Ania and Charly run this incredible place. 🫶🏻

This was not my first volunteering experience but by far the best I had! Ania & Charly manage this place with their heart. They truly want you to enjoy the island as much as possible! They made me feel comfortable and they are always present to support you! We created a deep and true relationship that was also very special ✨ I got to see all the places I wanted on the island and made so many friends from all over Europe!! On the side I also had some freetime to work on my own project. It's easy to find balance if you love simple things like swimming in the ocean and in waterfalls 😉

Where do I begin? the coliving has been the highlight of my travels in Portugal and my favourite volunteering experience. Never would have thought that this place in an little island in the middle of the Atlantic would give me the love, friendships, laughs, support and encouragement that it has. Ania and Charlie are the loveliest hosts, the workload is easy to manage while making time for your own remote work and exploring the beautiful island with your new friends. I always thinking good people make for the best experience, and everyone I've met at the coliving has confirmed it for me. All of my love!
