I was originally planning to spend one month here but loved it so much that I extended for another - and it's the best decision I could have made! The work is amazing, filled with fun tasks and of course the adorable Alpacas. Hege is one of the best hosts on here; she's honest, kind and really cares about her volunteers. She really respects you and values your work. Also huge thanks to John, her dad, who gave us the opportunity to go fishing and explore the surrounding islands! All in all this is such an amazing place to go and I would recommend it to everyone! I will miss you so much 🦙❤️

I definetely recommend this volunteering position! Hege and his husband are nice people. The tasks are reasonable and you can choose out of a bunch of it- whatever you feel best with. I started to work with wood, which I never did bever and I really like it. Working hours and free days are flexible to choose. The farm is located in the middle of beautiful nature. There are a lot of hiking options in the sourrounded area. Also Heges father took us with his boat for trips, which I absolutely enjoyed. We lived together with the other volunteers in a seperate house.

I absolutly recommend this place! The farm and its sourroundings are perfect for relaxing and being in the nature. Hege and Daniel are super nice persons who put a lot of trust in the volunteers. If you are interested, you can help to build a part of there new house - very interesting! My girlfriend and me had our nice own room and the "volunteer-house" has everything you'll need. Thank you Opplev the farm! :)

I've spend a wonderful time at the farm ! Hege is an amazing host, you will feel like home there. The place is a true paradise, between the incredible surroundings and the adorable animals ! I also really appreciated the work (cleaning the igloos, take care of the animals and the garden). You can apply without any hesitation ;) Thanks for everyting <3

I really enjoyed my stay at the farm, it was an amazing experience. Hege and her family are really kind and welcoming! The place is so wonderful and peaceful, surrounded by the sea and forests with great sunsets and cute animals. I would definitely recommend this experience to everyone Many thanks!!

I don't have words to describe this place! It was an incredible experience! I would absolutely recommend this farm to anyone who is looking for life time memories! What Hege and her family have created is just wonderful and very inspiring! I really enjoyed every second of my stay! The tasks are very varied and totally doable. I especially liked being able to help at the events in the barn! One of many highlights were the adventures with John, Hege's dad! I am really hoping to be back one day! ❤️

Loved every second of it! Hege and the whole family are the sweetest people ever who always make sure you feel good. I got to really connect with nature (absolutely gorgeous little hikes and swims), animals (already missing all the alpacas, rabbits, chickens:) and other likeminded volunteers to share the journey with. Our job was mostly to help with some gardening tasks or take care of the animals which for me was definitely more fun than difficult. If you'd love to be in a calm surrounding to rest your mind then it's definitely a place for you!

I don't even have the words for it to describe how much I enjoyed it at the farm, this was just incredible. The place is insanely beautiful, Hege (the host) is super super nice and the work was actually so much fun. It felt like I really lived the most “authentic” Norwegian life for a month and I feel very lucky for that. I really recommend to anyone that loves being surrounded by nature, lovely people and cute animals to come to the farm, you'll love it <3.

Volunteering at the farm was an incredible experience that I'll never forget ❣️ Hege and her whole family are all such lovely and kind people that are doing amazing things for their community which I really admire. I learned a lot of new and diverse skills and went on many fun adventures, surrounded by the most beautiful and serene nature. Spending time with the alpacas and other animals on the farm every day made me so happy and I'm already missing them a lot! I'm thankful for this time of my life and hope to return one day 🥰
