I had a really amazing time in that project. Laura and Felipe were so kind and I directly felt like home. The house/accommodation was really nice and comfortable. The working hours were perfect and the tasks were easy. Camilo, a worker on the farm, had always an answer for my questions and it was a really funny time with him! I can really recommend that place!!

Hey! I will write this review in English primarily for people travelling from outside Latin America. However I highly recommend being at least an intermediate in spanish, as the people you will be working, eating, and socializing with only speak Spanish. I found this to be a great opportunity to work and live a simple farm life. You will work 7am-12pm caring for the farm and taking the animals out to graze. You'll have the rest of the day for yourself. I found this to be a great opportunity to practice solitude, read, meditate, practice spanish. The Morales family is also very kind :)

Our experience in the farm was amazing! W Felipe and Laura are very welcoming and invited us to attend many local festivities while we were at the farm. They were also accommodating to all types of requests for food (my girlfriend is a vegetarian). They really helped us to feel at homw

Foi uma ótima experiência com incríveis aprendizados. A familia é muita acolhedora, o trabalho razoavel e o quarto disponibilizado agradável. Aprendi bastante sobre a vida e cultura local, pratiquei bastante meu espanhol, e conheci pessoas incríveis, tanto da familia quanto outros voluntários.

It was my first volunteering and it was a jackpot. The family is so lovely, they really make you feel like home. I learned a lot about working at farm and about local culture, i was attending a lot of cultural, family events. Highly recommend, i would love to go back

Ich hatte eine gute Zeit. Die beiden Gastgeber haben uns mit offenen Armen empfangen und wir haben uns so gefühlt als würden wir dazu gehören. Unter der Woche begann der Tag um 7 Uhr, dann wurde sich um den Bauernhof gekümmert und am Wochenende wurden mit uns Ausflüge gemacht. Wir hatten viel Spaß. Das einzige was ich anmerken würde, ist dass wir teilweise eine Stunde zu spät abgeholt wurden wenn wir mit den Schafen auf der Weide waren. Darauf könnte man achten dass dies nicht mehr passiert. Trotzdem würde ich den Bauernhof jedem weiter empfehlen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank :)

It is a beautiful farm, everything is kept very small. During the day it is very warm when the sun shines. It is very cold at night. You learn a lot about the routine on a farm.

My experience with the Morales family was amazing, the language barrier proved difficult but it couldn't stop their ever present friendliness and kindness. The work is a great way to learn more about animal care and farm life in general, you are well taught and get to experience some beautiful scenery. In your free time you spent time with locals trying traditional Ecuadorian food or playing a variety of sports. My experience was nothing short of amazing. I want to say a big thank you to the Morales family, Camino and all the animals.

It was an experience...wonderful!!! It's very difficult to find the words to say THANK YOU . The Morales family has the ability to make you feel part of the family from the first moment. We shared a lot of things but at the same time we had privacy. The work is quite challenging at first if you're not used to it like me, but it was a precious opportunity to learn something new and finally i love it!!! Thank you for the shared moments, the delicious dinners, the laughter, the stories, the funny moments! I will always carry you in my heart 🤍 I feel in love with the dogs and Renata!

If you want to immerse into Ecuadorian culture, this is the place for you! From the moment you arrive at the Morales house, you are part of the family. We felt home instantly. The work is taking care of the sheep and goats. Giving food, walk with them and clean the pen a bit. It is not hard and you learn a lot! You sleep in a little building next to the house and you have your own little living room. So whenever we wanted, we had privacy. The place is perfect for people who search tranquility, love animals (they have amazing dogs!) and want to improve their spanish. Thank you so much!
