We were here for one week as a couple. Our experience at the project was really amazing. We felt from the beginning like a part of the family. The food was more than amazing, the best what we ate so far in Perú. 100% recommendable 😊.

Loved this place!!!! The whole family is sooo nice!! The food is completly organic and deliscious. The work is super flexibel and very nice as well!! You work in nature, make you own organic chocolate, help out with social media. the project is lovely as well, almost no hotels or hostel, really a local place. This was my first volontario during travelling and now I want to da lo!! Highly recommend!!!! Graciassss

The family welcomed us very well. The food, in addition to being typical, was tasty and was always served in generous quantities! We had the opportunity to learn how to make artisanal chocolate and it was an experience of a lifetime. On the day off, we went to see Cascada Tununtunumba as a group.

Volunteering at the project Mágico was an incredible experience! The family was super nice and welcoming, the work was fun and well explained (even with my very basic level of Spanish), the meals were amazing, and the project is a beautiful town with friendly locals. During my week there I feel like I learned a lot about medicinal plants, how to make organic chocolate, and how to live in harmony with nature. I would recommend this experience to anyone looking to connect with nature and meet some truly amazing people. Muchas gracias 🫶🏻

My experience is a bit an in between... That is true that the family is lovely, they host you, give you great meals... I can imagine that it is not easy to have foreigner at your place everyday for a couple of days. But I have to be honest and say that I expected way more because of all the great reviews. The location where I slept was a bit too much for me (outside shower, insects, darkness etc..) I worked maybe 4h in 10 days - it was long (& only 1h30 related to chocolate). I felt pretty much alone too.. We were only seeing each other to eat and that was mostly the "activity" of the day.

Nunca te quejes en la vida, tampoco estabas preparada para ser voluntaria, si hubieses querido vivir todo lo que hacemos, te hubieras adentrado a cada paso si que se te llamará y no estar siempre sentada

This experience was absolutely amazing! The family at the project welcomed me like a daughter and I felt like at home the all time. I have learnt so much about organic cocoa, medical plants and living sustainable. I highly recommend a visit. The people, the food, the accommodation, the tasks and work, everything was just great. The hosts were amazing, we encountered a lot of understanding, hospitality and acceptance. We saw amazing nature, met lovely people, understood their culture, participated in different activities and learned a lot. Our experience was transformational, we ate amazing food amd we had a lot of fun.
