La Experiencia

Program starts usually from 10 am. I am looking for some help to renovate my provençal house and to do some pet sitting as well. ( for my 2 cats ) I will be very proud to make you know about Van Gogh’ s town and the french culture specially in the Natural Reserve of La Camargue, région of flamingos and of the Gipsy music. Require support for painting, gardening, pet sitting, house keeping and hosting guests.

I loved my time here in Arles! The town is beautiful and full of life, and Kim was the kindest and coolest host I could ask for: sweet, fun and caring, always ready to help with my needs. The work was never too tiring or hard and the working hours were flexible. I loved having the opportunity to be a part of her project to open an art gallery and to also learn new skills, like painting, cleaning and fixing things. I definitely recommend Kim to everyone who wants to have a useful working experience while also being independent and free to explore. I can't wait to come back, I'll miss you Kim!

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and it was lovely staying with Kim and being able to immerse myself into the French culture. She was very helpful with recommendations where to go and do in her area which helped me to plan and go see many places and explore the beautiful town of Arles! The amount of work was just right and she was very happy to change plans to suit me too! I felt very welcome and at home during my whole stay and I'd love to come back! Don't hesitate to help Kim as she is the kindest and sweetest person and I will miss chatting to her!

I definitely recommend this experience! Kim was very sweet throughout my stay. The work may be tiring sometimes (especially if you go during summer, because of the heat) but you can always ask Kim for a break. Arles is a wonderful city, I never got bored of taking a walk around old town. There are a lot of restaurants and bars (it is a bit more expensive in the old town, but once or twice it'the home totally fine). The public transport to nearby cities or the sea is great and cheap, so you can do all kinds of day trips too (Kim will help you figure it out, and with what you can do or see).
