This was my first time volunteering and I really liked it. The rooms are large and clean, and the food is very good. The work is fun and rewarding, and you get to meet many different types of people. Even though the location is isolated, there are many opportunities to get to the nearby villages by bike or car. Can highly recommend!

It's a kind of the Center far from the city, surrounded by beautiful forests. The food is plentiful and delicious. The kitchen and cleaning staff are incredibly kind and wonderful people. There's a sauna, pool, yoga classes, and German lessons. At times, there's a lot of work, but nothing overwhelming. Highly recommended!

Be prepared for work. First, I want to say huge thanks to my friends, people I had the luck to work and live with : Bruce, Charlie, Stéfan, Andrés, Jessica, Annegret, Michela, Ellen, Tommy, Sarah, Dita and Aziz. This experience was amazing thanks to them : it wasn't a team but a family. The work was interesting and enriching. But if you are at Sagasfield, it's to work : kitchen is from 6 to 12.30 am or from 3 to 9.30 pm. You can work 6,7, 8 days in a row. Also : only vege food (delicious but redondant), access to sauna from 9pm, no german lessons. But It was a great human experience !

An internship is for learning new tasks and a new company. I'm sorry that you're scared of what work feels like. But that's also what internships are for. We're a wellness hotel and allow our employees to participate in yoga and use the sauna from 9 p.m. We think that's great, and you're complaining about it?!? We don't cook meat or fish and we communicate this beforehand, and you're complaining about it?!? We offer free German lessons, so the German teacher is sick, and you complain about it?

I had a great experience at the Center! It is a very peaceful place full of nature and I met lovely people there! Bare in mind that it can be far away from big cities like Hamburg, so if you don't mind a quiet period of time, then it's a good fit for you! The work could be tiring at times, but nothing crazy! I got very lucky that I got to see around the local area thanks to the amazing Annegret! The workers there are always so kind and open to take you out and see other things, so don't decline the invitation!

I actually really really enjoyed this! It was my first time ever leaving Ireland so I was super super nervous but once I arrived that all slipped away:) The work wasn't overwhelming and it was generally easy to have fun and work at the same time. Even the bike rides in the middle of winter were enjoyable in its own special way. I want to come back to find all the gnomes in Hitzacker and to experience more of the chill vibes of the forest. Highly highly recommend to anyone thinking of going!!

This was my second experience in the Center. I really advice this place for anyone who knows also how to spend time with themselves or knows how to get creative with the other volunteers since it's pretty far from the big cities. The team is very kind and respectful. I met so many angels in the volunteers but also in the working team. I send you a big hug, thank you for all the advices, because I had some issues in the work but now I have the tools to get better for the future thanks to the amazing chefs, Azis and Olaf. Your friend, Laura💕

You should know that is very difficult to get here, so plan your trip beforehand (trains, taxi, etc). You spend a lot of time here because its a very remote place. The nearest „town“ is 25 minutes by bike. Is nice that they let us use the bikes freely and the food is vegetarian but you will never be hungry. There are morning shifts which start at 6 in the morning and evening shifts which starts at 14:30 or 15:00 until 21:30. Sometimes the work is heavy because there are not enough volunteers or because there are too many guest! Overall is hard work but you will have fun and learn a lot about u

The Center was a Home away from home! The other workies were so welcoming and helped me get settled in. Everyone was so kind and supportive with all of the work tasks. The work tasks were nothing like I expected, but better, I started with housework which I honestly wasn't looking forward to, but the others made it fun and easy! Kitchen work was a ton of fun as well. Even with working 6 hours a day we still had so much fun with all of the others, fires, movies, music and getting to know all of the others and their respective cultures. Absolutely loved it here, highly recommend!

I had the best time in the Center, it's the perfect place to relax and get in touch with nature. Working with the other worldpackers and hotel workers has been a lot of fun, thanks to all of you! The room, the food and the yoga classes were all great. Compared to my previous workaway experiences, it felt more like a job than an exchange. I didn't had much chance to talk to the owner and we were treated in the same way as the other workers. I expected this before coming and I was looking for a place to relax during my holiday so it was perfect for me, but just be aware of this in advance.

This was my first Worldpackers experience. I found an amazing place, incredible people, and myself in the process. If you're looking for having fun enjoying the little simple but beautiful things of life, this place is a good fit for you! You get what you give, I suggest you take the job seriously and be respectful of it while also having fun. A big hug to the team, bis bald!☀️🪷🧡
