Yoga and Ayurveda Retreat Sagasfeld

Our focus is cultural exchange. In addition to the experiences that you will make in the many different volunteer tasks, you can learn a lot: German language lessons, Yoga lessons, sometimes making music together at the fireplace...

Do you want to learn German?
Many things are much easier with some knowledge of the German language. That is why we offer a free language course once a week.

We are very cosmopolitan and live together in a wellness village with lots of nature, yoga and Ayurveda. But we are not mega esoteric but very down to earth. Being friendly and open minded probably sums it up quite well.

The people make the place and during my stay in Sagasfeld I met amazing people from many diferent countries that I now consider my family. Sagasfeld is a great place to not only meet super kind and fun people, but also to get to know yourself better. If you can work hard I totally recommend this experience!

I stayed at Sagasfeld for two months originally i was supposed to stay for one month but I stayed longer because I really like the place full of great people who I would like to see again in the future. The experience was great every week we would have a bonfire or watch a movie together mabye go for a cycle. Every week I learned something new about Germany and this region. The work wasn't bad if you worked a job before should be easy for you I would recommend going to visit here you won't regret it.

Sean was simply fantastic. He was always friendly, helpful, and a great asset to our team. We immediately took Sean to our hearts, and Sean is always welcome back to Sagasfeld. Your family in Germany

It was really nice working at hotel Sagasfeld. The staff was really friendly, the other volunteers were also super friendly, we did so much stuff together like riding the bikes to the city, watching movies, playing songs and singing, hanging out in the bonfire area and many others.
I had a blast.

This was my first time volunteering and I really liked it. The rooms are large and clean, and the food is very good. The work is fun and rewarding, and you get to meet many different types of people. Even though the location is isolated, there are many opportunities to get to the nearby villages by bike or car. Can highly recommend!

Be prepared for work.
First, I want to say huge thanks to my friends, people I had the luck to work and live with : Bruce, Charlie, Stéfan, Andrés, Jessica, Annegret, Michela, Ellen, Tommy, Sarah, Dita and Aziz. This experience was amazing thanks to them : it wasn't a team but a family.
The work was interesting and enriching. But if you are at Sagasfield, it's to work : kitchen is from 6 to 12.30 am or from 3 to 9.30 pm. You can work 6,7, 8 days in a row.
Also : only vege food (delicious but redondant), access to sauna from 9pm, no german lessons.
But It was a great human experience !

An internship is for learning new tasks and a new company. I'm sorry that you're scared of what work feels like. But that's also what internships are for. We're a wellness hotel and allow our employees to participate in yoga and use the sauna from 9 p.m. We think that's great, and you're complaining about it?!? We don't cook meat or fish and we communicate this beforehand, and you're complaining about it?!? We offer free German lessons, so the German teacher is sick, and you complain about it?
