My stay at the hostel was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have picked a better place. The job is easy and the shifts are quite short. I had enough time to have a life outside of volunteering as well as spend time with the team and staff, which was very welcoming and always ready to help. The location is ideal and well connected. My stay was over too soon and I hope to be back:)

It was an amazing experience! The people was super welcoming and cool and the tasks super easy. The meals were great and the rations big enough to eat twice so was never hungry! Really recommended!

It was my first volunteering experience and it was incredible! The accommodation is excellent, the meals are of excellent quality and working hours and days off are respected. The entire team and volunteers are very attentive and are always willing to answer any questions! I volunteered in the kitchen and it was excellent, I thank chefs Gigi and Eugênio for their lessons and patience. And I also thank Jacob and Darren for the opportunity to volunteer in an excellent place. These were incredible days that will be remembered!

It was amazing! My experience at Sandeman was great. The hospitality, colleagues and guest were amazing throughout my stay. I volunteered for 35 days, working as a housekeeping and kitchen assistant. The working hours and day off were always respected. Housekeeping is easy land you can manage your tasks well to be faster. Working in the kitchen at night is a bit harder, because the dinner dishes are harder to clean. The location is perfect, close to markets, the park, the metro, Mc Donald's, etc. You can also practice your English a lot! It was my first volunteer experience and it was great!

It was an incredible experience. The hostel is great, the people are super attentive, especially Jacob, a very kind person. I believe they were the most special days of my year. The accommodation is great and I felt at home. ❤️

I had a wonderful time here! The tasks in the dining room was simple and easy, the team was great, the residents were friendly, the food and accommodation were impeccable,and the managers were very attentive to our daily needs. If you want to explore London in depth, there's no better place than here, not to mention you would make lots of friends! I initially thought 30 days would be enough to explore London, but there are still so many places I haven't visited. I hope to come back next year!

Really glad to have this as my first volunteering experience outside of the US! So much fun, the hours were super reasonable so you'll have tons of time to go out and explore, and the location is great too right in the middle of everything! 10/10 experience for sure

One of the best volunteer experiences I've ever had. Fair hours, manageable workload, and the accommodation and meals provided are of great quality. The hostel's location is perfect, and both the staff and volunteers are amazing. Highly recommend it!

Volunteering at Sandeman Hostel was an incredible experience, i had a great time there where i was able to develop my english and everyone was very helpful, the food was good and it was also close to a lot of things including hyde park; I will never forget the people I met during my time there 🧡 Jacob is a great host and helpful, I had to leave a few days before the agreed date but he understood my situation. I 100% recommend it if you're considering volunteering there!
