If you are thinking of having a unique and wonderful experience, you have to be in this place. I'm not the kind of person who normally writes reviews, but this place really deserves one. For starters it was my first experience as a volunteer here. I truly loved the staff and the time spent around the international travelers was eye-opening to many different cultures and languages. The rooms are nice and the rooftop has a really nice view; which, is located just in front of the mountains and close to the beach. Ideally located to get to different areas quickly. I highly recommended the hostel✌

I had an amazing time at the hostel, from the volunteers to the staff the atmosphere is very friendly and welcoming. The hostel is also located in the perfect place for navigating the city, and getting a chance to see both the nature and night life.

I could have not chosen a better option to do my first experience of volunteering, everyone in the hostel was very friendly and helpful, especially Lucas that was always there to give you a hand.

It was my first experience and i had so much fun with another workers,volunteers,managers and other hosts! That hostel is a perfect place and you can meet a lot of diffferent kind a cultures in there. I ll miss this place so much and i am sure everybody feels that way too. Basically that was a perfect experience :) i dont know who is gonna replace me but he/she is gonna have fun for sure :)

This was my first experience volunteering at a hostel and the absolute best one!! If you're considering working here, do it! The hostel feels like home and you meet so many people working here. Guest kept coming back here because they liked it so much. The location is also ideal, Brazil is just a blast! The managers are great to work with and helpful with whatever you need. They even arranged free tours for us. The beds are comfy and the roof top is awesome. I'm going to miss working here so much!

Overall I did enjoy my time at the hostel. The staff and the other volunteers were nice and you have a lot of time to explore the city as you work one day on and one day off. The tasks, however, were a bit unclear and not communicated very well. Although the host is very flexible if you want to change your dates. All in all, Rio is an amazing city and I really want to come back!
