I had a great time in Faro! Even though there were some organisation problems in the beginning for me, I felt very respected and welcomed by Sonja, Pedro and Josefina. Sonja is a great communicator, very kind and fair host who really puts a lot of effort for the whole team. The work requires some responsability and attentiveness but is very managable and easy after you get the routine - plus, you can always ask questions! I also have to mention that even though it's only one meal per day, the food is usually very good and you'll get the chance to meet all the other volunteers. Recommended! :)

This was my first experience as a volunteer and I couldn't have asked for better host and place ! It has been a wonderful experience and I'm so grateful I found this place. I felt very welcomed and comfortable . I can highly recommend !

I loved my time here in Faro. The working hours were as agreed and fair, the work itself was not too difficult and manageable. Lunch was freshly cooked for the volunteers every day and was very good:) Sonja and Pedro were great hosts who always had an open ear for the volunteers and put a lot of effort into it. I would recommend this experience to anyone🌞 Thank you Sonja, Pedro, Josefina and all the other volunteers 🫶🏼

I had such an amazing time with Sonja, she's the best boss I've ever had. She's so caring and loving, she'll help you with anything you need. The tasks are very simple and don't take so long. You'll work on the morning and have the rest of the day to do whatever you want. At 3PM everyday, there's a lunch with all of the volunteers, so you can talk to everyone, and get to know people from all over the world. It really has been the best first volunteering experience ever.
