Dora, Hans and Christian are lovely people! We enjoyed the accommodation and the proximity to the Main Street. There's some great local restaurants around. Unfortunately it was school holidays for most of our stay so we only taught 4 classes in our 2 weeks there. It's a quiet town with not a lot to do. Hans showed us a great part of the river which we walked to and swam in everyday. Our Spanish is only at a beginner level so it did present as quite a challenge at times. The weekend activities with Dora and Hans are super fun, and the kids are also super lovely.

We stayed in the town of Codo, met the lovely hosts, went on some fun adventures and did some teaching. I would recommend this to people interested in branching out of their comfort zone to engage in something meaningful.

We taught for 3 hours Mon-Thurs with 3 different classes which was so fun! I loved teaching them and really enjoyed myself in the classroom as well. This was 1 hour in the am and 2 hours in the evening. However, for the majority of the day there was nothing to do so I was bored, therefore I would recommend this more for someone who is a digital nomad or has things to do online during the day because there isn't much to do at all. However on Fri, Sat and Sun we would go out on excursions with Hans which was super fun!! I loved getting to explore the town and the Amazon, and meeting his family!

I had such a great time here. Neyer, the host, was lovely and did so much with us, taking us fruit picking, to beautiful natural swimming pools and even showed us how to make chocolate. The teaching days are tiring but well paced, with teaching in the morning and a long break in the middle of the day before things resume again in the afternoon. The kids can be a handful but they are also a lot of fun, very friendly and very eager to get to know you. There is also plenty of time to explore the little town, and I felt very safe doing so :)

Mon-Wed 10.45-12.45/afternoon 16-17.30/adults 18-19.30. House-very cute+garden. Sleep -shared room. Outside toilet, shower, rainwater to use for cleaning+cooking. Pricy need to cover food, water, toilet paper, travel. Neyer local guy, is very nice -does trips to rivers/jungle. Hot weather. Wifi working on/off -use Claro/Bitel.

Working with the organization was an amazing experience! The people there really want to share their culture and you live like locals. We did a lot of games with the kids which was really fun. You only have to teach on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so on the other days there's time for adventures in the jungle. Nayer took us to beautiful places where we could swim in the river. I love that I got a sense of the culture because it's a lot different from my own. I also really felt relaxed during my stay. I would definitely recommend this experience!

I had a great time in Puerto Inca volunteering with the organization over the past 2 weeks. It is a place you wouldn't otherwise visit as a tourist and as such a unique experience. Monday to Wednesday is when you teach the children, which can be overwhelming at first but quickly adapted- the kids are amazing, and so welcoming to all the volunteers. You get a lot of free time in between where the organization take you on trips into the jungle which were loads of fun to enjoy along with the other volunteers

I went into this experience thinking I would be busy teaching often and working for the program but that wasn't my experience at all. Though I made fantastic connections with the local children and adults, I was surprised by the amount of independence I felt at SemillasLife. This was such a gift, as I found myself taking charge of my days and advocating for fun and adventure. I had so much free time to spend with the other volunteers and these connections ended up being one of the most important parts of the program for me. I loved teaching, spending time with other volunteers, and the nature

I spent two weeks at the organization and had a great time. The village we lived in was a lovely place surrounded by nature. You will meet travelers from all around the world, share everything and make friends for life! On a normal schoolday we taught two agegroups from late afternoon until the evening. What I enjoyed most was the daily life as a community and closeness to the nature. Every other day we did cool activities like having a bonfire or hiking to a waterfall. Chris and Anna are the best and want you to have the best expirience possible. You really notice that they care.
