I had an incredible experience. I learned a lot about art and my supervisors were amazing. I also had the opportunity to learn about the Center and Buddhism. Here you can connect with nature and it's close to the Lake District, beaches and beautiful small towns. I met people from all over the world and it was special to be able to share with them. This place and all the people here will always be in my heart. I hope to visit again.

I had an amazing time at the Center !! The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature, the people are so kind and patient (you can ask the nuns and monks whatever question you have about Buddhism they will be more than happy to answer), the work hours are respected and the job is not too difficult. I learned a lot about Buddhism and about myself. I also made great friends there and had a lot of fun. I can't wait to come back ❤️

I had a great experience at the Center. It's a very special place with wonderful people. I learned so much in two weeks and really enjoyed the daily the Center classes. This is a nice place to connect with nature, grow as a person and be surrounded by great people in a peaceful environment. I would highly recommend spending time here. I hope to visit again :)

I had an amazing 2 weeks here! Everything is very organized and comfortable, there's usually 30 or so volunteers so there's plenty of people to meet, the food is amazing, and the location is beautiful with plenty of fun things to do nearby during your time off. My supervisor Thourya (I worked in household) was so wonderful and kind and I loved working with my team :) It's also a great place to learn more about Buddhism if you're interested and there are a couple free meditations available to volunteers in the afternoon. Highly recommend volunteering here, I hope to come back someday!

My 2 weeks at the Center was great. I worked in the art studio; it was interesting to learn about how the statues are made and participate in it. Life there is a routine; it's a perfect place for people who'd like to have a peaceful time. It's also the best place if you'd like to meet international travellers; there are around 30 volunteers at all times and everyone is really nice. It's close to the beach and lake district so there are plenty of things to do on your days off. All in all it was a great experience. Thanks for everything!

I loved the experience because I learned a lot about the practice of Buddhism, the people are very friendly and the vegetarian/vegan food are delicius too. And had an amazing time with travelers of many parts of the World !

Was my first volunteer work, and I believe there couldn't have been a better way to start. I met people from nearly every corner of the world, people who had traveled extensively and had a lot to share. I was assisting in the kitchen, and I would like to express my special thanks to Lobon and Odro for their company and teachings in the day-to-day kitchen activities, as well as for all the enjoyable moments they provided us. All the people, whether monk or resident, are good-natured and always willing to help us, this certainly helped a lot to make this experience truly incredible.

As pessoas são muito amáveis e mesmo com toda dificuldade que tive em me comunicar, eles me acolheram com amor e paciência. O lugar é lindo e transmite uma paz inexplicável. A transformative experience, it was an incredible 3 weeks of lots of learning and fun with everyone I came into contact with. The food is excellent and the kitchen team is amazing (not just because I worked there hahaha), I would also like to give special thanks to the leaders Lobon and Odro. I was able to learn more and participate in Buddhist practices (optional for each person), explore the city and all the local nature. For those interested in going: take comfortable shoes for walking, in most places you will need to walk there and have at least 1 waterproof coat as it rains a lot.

An incredible place. Nature and peace at its maximum splendor. I met unique people that I hope to always carry in my heart. I worked in House Hold and Art Studio, both experiences were incredible.
