We spent just over 3 weeks with Joby, in the beautiful mountains. Joby is a great guy, with endless stories and amazing cooking. The work was easily manageable and we learnt a few new skills too. BlackJack and Lady are the loveliest cats and will be the best companions to any volunteer who arrives. Overall, the home was a tranquil and idyllic place to be and I hope to be back one day soon.

Thanks for having me! It was my first trip and it couldn't been any better. The area and property is fantastic, the views and the atmosphere is incredible, the tasks are manageable and the meals were always a highlight for me! Can recommend to anyone who can help maintaining land and taking care of other little jobs, just don't be lazy ;)

Joby makes you feel very welcome, he explains the tasks very well. Tasks include strimming, wood chopping, taking care of the animals and help him with building his new cabin. In your free time you can explore the coastal cities or go hiking in the mountains. Joby can drop you off at several places when you leaves for work. You will be spending a lot of time on your own, so be aware of this. If you want to stay at a place in the middle of the mountains and reconnect with nature, this is definitely the place for you!!

Minha experiência foi muito legal, o lugar é lindo, calmo, totalmente em meio à natureza 🌳🌞As atividades eram fáceis e tranquilas, tive uma real experiência de como é morar no campo, e realmente é muito gostoso. O anfitrião Joby é muito gentil e respeitoso, cada atividade que ele solicita, ele te ensina com toda paciência, recomendo essa experiência para as pessoas que estão em busca de um tempo tranquilo e de se conectar com a natureza!!!!

Joby it's very nice guy, we stayed in a second house so it was comfortable and private. The road it's very tight, so if you go with your car, think about your bags, because our car couldn't get out there if joby didn't help us. It's a big land, we didn't have experience, so it was a little bit scary to cut the grass in some areas. We feed the chicken's and cleaned the pool, and take care of the joby's house. Some tasks are daily even in our day off. Thank so much joby,hope see you soon!

Joby was really nice from the start, very patient with my difficulty speaking in English. He is also an excellent cook! The view from the place is beautiful and you will spend a lot of time alone, which won't be a problem if you like that. I feel like I'm an expert at lighting fireplaces, I fed the chickens, and the work wasn't difficult. I definitely have a lot to be thankful for! Thank you Joby for having me in your home.

Had a great time, this was our first experience and Joby made us very welcomed and we learned a lot. The place is breathtaking but better for pairs as it is in mountains. And his cats and gallinas are adorable and make great company. Thank you:)

My experience at the home was great. The work could be challenging but was extremely rewarding. Joby is an awesome, down to earth guy with a great sense is humour. He is also a great chef! Will certainly be going back to gain more knowledge!

We had a great time at the home. We were well looked after with great accommodation and food. We learnt lots of new skills and also enjoyed the local area. Joby was a great and interesting host, he works during the day so it's important to know that you'll be on your own during the day if you're a solo traveller. Overall a lovely experience the mountains!
