The best place to volunteer EVER. I was immediately welcomed with open arms, the staff is like my family now. I extended my stay twice because of how much I love it here. They made my first volunteering experience so memorable and I hope to return in the future. The work is fun and not difficult. 10/10 would recommend.

My experience at this Hostel was simply amazing! I was going to spend 1 month and a half and when I saw it, it was already 3 months! It was my first volunteering experience and from the moment I arrived I felt at home! Paolo, who is one of the partners, is a very nice and sweet person, the hostel team is wonderful and they are always there if you need anything! Rome is an incredible city capable of making anyone fall in love, if you are in Rome this Hostel is the best you can go either as a volunteer or as a guest! Thank you so much for caring and for the opportunity!!!

The hostel Rome was my first volunteering and it couldn't have been more perfect, it really was like a family, all the employees and volunteers treated me so well, in a way I never thought, it was much more than I imagined in EVERY way. I really just have to thank for the opportunity and the amazing people I met, for sure they will be kept forever in my heart

I love Rome, but I love even more FREEHOSTELS! I felt so lucky to have been accepted to stay here as a volunteer, I arrived as a volunteer but, I found friends and my Italian family forever. Paolo is an amazing boss with a great of humor. Fernanda is a lovely person, always willing to teach and guide you. I can't count the laugh I have shared with Berta, Jasmine, Nao, and Vicky. Certainly the best team ever! About the tasks, these are easy to do. The environment in the hostel is fun and relaxed, but hey! they are always things to do SO be PROACTIVE!!!. Write me if you have questions :)

I am so satisfied with my experience. The work was easy, every day I met new people and was constantly talking to new travellers. The atmosphere in the hostel is warm and fun. Paolo is a really kind man, Who made me feel really comfortable. Fernanda is the same, she was always there to ask questions and she made sure that I was ok and enjoying my time. The hostel is a 20 minute walk from the colosseum. And near many metros. It's a perfect location in my opinion. I stayed in accommodation beside the hostel with afew other girls which I loved. Once again I got to learn about new cultures😊

O hostel , um lugar dentro da história do hostel, é um lugar perfeito para quem quer conhecer tudo andando. Eu tive o prazer de trocar experiências com pessoas incríveis lá. A Fernanda q eu chamo carinhosamente de Fé, o Paulo q eu o chamo de Paulito e o Fernando q é um fofo. Todos muito acolhedores e amáveis. Eu diria uma equipe deliciosa. O trabalho é muito tranquilo de realizar, o horário e cumprido a casa onde ficamos alojados e bem perto, com uma galera massa também. Eu super indico o lugar e a convivências com esses seres lindo. Obrigada a todos❤️❤️❤️🤸

First and foremost, thank you Jacopo and Paolo for this experience. I am truly grateful. I was having a great time volunteering until my last two weeks when I was being micromanaged by one of the girls who is an employee at the hostel. I had a lot of patience with her until my last day when she completely disrespected me and I had to walk out. I hope no other volunteer has this same experience. Apart from that, I appreciate Jacopo for talking with me and being communicative. This is a great hostel and I met a lot of cool people, just wish the employees were nicer to the volunteers.

On the other hand I have to say I am not happy with your 3 stars as you had a problem with just one of us and penalyzed the whole hostel, which is not fair at all.
Also, you guys share the responsability of what happened, as we already discussed.

Uma experiência incrível no hostel. Conheci pessoas maravilhosas, tive uma ótima troca com os hóspedes e o time. Nossos horários são respeitados, a agenda é montada semanalmente, com uma movimentação de horários para você passar por todas as áreas. Posso dizer sinceramente que foi um lugar super acolhedor. Todo mundo super receptivo. Infelizmente eu tive que finalizar meu voluntariado mais cedo por conta de um problema estrutural e acabei ficando sem opção. Para os viajantes, eu recomendo esse anfitrião para você que deseja interagir bastante com pessoas de diversos países. Thank you all, FHR.
