I came planning to stay one month and ended up staying two, because my time here was unforgettable. It was my first time in Rome, and it couldn't have been better. The job is easy, the volunteers stay in an apartment just 5 minutes walking from the hostel (with the hostel dinner!), and the whole team is always helpful and kind. A very special thanks to Paolo, who made me feel part of a real family. Thanks to him and the amazing team (Luiza, Pelin, Ali, Andres, Vidal and Lucas) I know that when I come back to Rome I'll always have a family waiting for me at the hostel. I'll miss you all so much!

This was my first time volunteering, it was definitely an unforgettable experience and I loved it! The staff is amazing, super kind, and welcoming, and I really enjoyed working with all of them. From the very first moment, I felt at home. The work itself is not heavy at all, and the hours are fair. It was also really nice to have an apartment for the volunteers. I had a great time volunteering at FreeHostels. The best part is the environment, from the beginning I was very well welcomed and working with Ali, Luiza, Paolo and all crew made the day lighter. It's a great place to meet travelers, socialize and explore the hostel. The tasks were simple, the hostel and the volunteers apartment is well located, close to the metro, the bus and the Coliseo!! Volunteering at the hostel was an unforgettable experience. The staff were very welcoming and supportive which made me feel right at home. The tasks were clearly outlined and help was always offered when needed. A standout perk was having a dedicated apartment for the volunteers, a rare luxury compared to the typical hostel accommodation. A special thank you to Ali and Paolo for this incredible opportunity. Trabalhar no hostel foi uma experiência enriquecedora! Aprendi muito lá, desenvolvi mais o italiano e conheci pessoas incríveis por lá. Toda a equipe é simplesmente acolhedora e gentil com você, o tempo todo, sempre se disponibilizando para ajudar! Meu primeiro trabalho voluntário foi simplesmente incrível, abriu um novo olhar que não tinha sobre o quão importante é um trabalho voluntário. Isso tudo graças ao o hostel! Após essa experiência tenho mais vontade ainda de fazer outros trabalhos voluntários!!! Obrigada o hostel :)

My time at "the hostel" was fantastic. Nice and fun colleagues and easy work to learn. Nice apartment to live in with the other volunteers. the hostel was a fantastic city to spend a long time in, there is always something new to see. I recommend working at the hostel!!!

I spent 3 months in the hostel, and it wasn't even enough. The tasks were manageable, and it was easy to connect with other travelers. Rome is an incredible city that you can never get bored of! the staff was one of the best part. From the very beginning, they made me feel welcome and never alone. It was my first volunteering experience, and I had no idea what to expect. They patiently taught me everything I needed to know. Paolo, Ali, Pelin, Andres, Vidal, Luiza, and Lucas, they are so warm, helpful, and fun. I highly recommend the hostel to anyone considering volunteering.

My experience was very enjoyable. Everyone was super welcoming. The work is very easygoing and it's a great opportunity to meet new people. The apartment gives you more privacy to enjoy the city, and the location is great for exploring other places in Italy.

The hostel crew was like a family to me in these months since day 1. I have no words to explain how nice and caring they all are. Paolo, Luiza, Pelin, Ali.. all of them! I improved my italian, made new friends, learnt about other cultures and had a lot of fun. This is the perfect place to volunteer if you want to explore the hostel <3 the tasks are very relax, the appartamento is close to the hostel which is also walking distance to almost everything. Veramente indimenticabile; vi porterò sempre nel mio cuore, grazie per tutto.
