It's was my first Worldpackerd experience and I was really glad I did it here. The staff were super inviting and welcoming. They were always willing to help when needed. The tasks were manageable. I had done the night shift and mostly worked alone but was always able to reach a staff member if I needed support. The hostel has a very cozy environment making it easy for you to meet new people and feel comfortable during your stay. I would definitely do this again in the future!

Was my first experience volunteering and solo travel, it was an amazing experience. Everyone really friendly, Ale and Kip always ready for help (thanks you both are amazing!). The location is really good, easy access to public transport and close to city center. The work was really easy and the schedule was respected. In the night shift we needed deal with a lot of things and sometimes, things is not supposed to deal alone, but I had a great time, I made truly friends, I recommend and I will be back for sure!

Foi uma experiência incrível, me conectei com pessoas muito especiais. Trabalhei no turno da noite, da meia noite até 8 da manhã. Alguns dias eram mais desafiadores do que outros, tendo que lidar com imprevistos, mas eu sempre conseguia me comunicar com alguém da equipe que me ajudava. Eu trabalhava 3 dias seguidos e tinha 6 dias off seguidos, o que era maravilhoso! Os outros voluntários eram como uma família para mim, já estou com saudades! A localização do hostel é ótima e adorei o hostel em si também. Acho que a experiência depende muito de quem são os outros voluntários, eu tive sorte ❤️

This was my first time volunteering and I couldn't have expected to have such an amazing experience. I was lucky to have a great group of volunteers with me during my time. The shifts are pretty easy and nothing hard. Working 3 shifts with 72hours off after. Huge thank you to all the staff Ale, kip and Kessya were amazing and really made the time at UGH a month I won't forget. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

This was my first time doing a volunteer experience. I didn't expect that four weeks could give me so much. I was lucky to meet a wonderful group of volunteers, and with the guys working in the hostel I really felt at home.

Minha 3° vez no hostel e mais uma vez foi incrível. A equipe é excelente, os horários respeitados, o trabalho é tranquilo. O hostel tem uma ótima localização. Recomendo a todos essa experiência. Me sinto sempre em casa.

Memorável minha experiência no hostel, as tarefas e os horários são bem distribuídos e no tempo livre da para aproveitar Lisboa! Não tenho palavras para agradecer toda a equipe, Ale, Kessya, Izzy e Kip foi um prazer contribuir esse tempo com todos. ❤️ Recomendo a todos essa experiência!

Volunteering at the hostel was definitely a positive and interesting experience. I immediately felt at home: Ale, Kip, Kessya and Izzy are very kind and always ready to help you in any circumstance, and the working hours are always respected. The work is absolutely doable, even if sometimes making beds can be tiring, and it leaves a lot of time to visit Lisbon, which is beautiful, and its surroundings. I had fun, I saw beautiful places, met many people and learned a lot, I recommend everyone to try this experience. Thanks UGH!!!
