This was my first volunteer and was an incredible experience. The city and people of Busan are super friendly, so you will feel at home. The job is an amazing opportunity to dive into local culture and share experiences with a wide range of personalities.

Volunteering at LanCul was an amazing first experience! I met volunteers from around the world, exchanged insights, and engaged with locals through conversation classes. It was truly enriching. The accommodation is basic but functional, with all essentials provided. Volunteers handle weekly cleaning, each assigned to a room. The area is lively, near Pusan University, with plenty of shops and restaurants. A subway station nearby takes you to hotspots in 40-60 minutes. Busan is a beautiful city, combining mountains, beaches, nature, and the vibrancy. I definitely recommend LanCul!

I had a wonderful experience working at LanCul. The other volunteers were lovely, Andy is easy going and accommodating if you need a schedule change. He sends out the schedule every weekend for the upcoming week. The language cafe is about a six minute walk from the dorm, and the dorm is close to convenience stores, super markets and more (it's near PNU). You can get downtown very easily with the subway and explore surrounding areas. The people that come to the cafe are very nice & diverse in age & experience, from young kids to retired adults practicing their English in order to travel.

It was an amazing experience, I really enjoyed the talks with locals. The location is ideal to do many things and the hours are not a problem. You'll have so many time to do everything you want. The apartment was clean (we have to help with that) and all the people who were here were nice and for that reason my time here was even better. Busan is a really cool place to be.

I had the coliving time at the Language Center Busan!! I met some amazing locals and other travelers who enriched my experience and helped me connect more meaningfully to the people of South Korea. I was able to sharpen my English teaching skills through practice of conversational English with the locals and that was the highlight of each day. I explored the beautiful Pusan University campus and felt safe at any time of day. I recommend this assignment to any Worldpacker who is interested in travel sustainability and who respects diverse cultures. This is an experience not to be missed!

This volunteer experience the coliving for a language and cultural exchange was truly rewarding. The agreed-upon hours were fair, and the host was exceptional—communicative, responsive, and genuinely supportive throughout our stay. We had the opportunity to meet wonderful people, both locals and fellow travelers, which added to the richness of the experience. Volunteering at LZone was a great experience! Andy is an awesome host. He's very nice and easy to get along with. He checks up regularly to make sure everything is going smooth and works with you in times where you need to change your schedule. It's also very fun and interesting hanging out and meeting other volunteers from all over the world! The English learners are all nice and fun to talk with. I would definitely recommend volunteering here!
