Truly an AMAZING experience. This was my first volunteering and I can tell that I enjoyed every minute of it. I got to work together with two amazing co volunteers. The owners are such a great people. So friendly, welcoming and really the best bosses I ever had. The work was easy and flexible. And the private volunteer room was nice and comfy. On days off there is a lot of close places to visit also the beach is just so close. My favourite thing is the balcony where I watched Etna every day and seen it erupt 5times. 2nd favourite place is Horizon, officially the best beach club ever.

Brigitta was a perfect collaborator! Always cheerful and smiling, attentive, precise, very tidy, reliable, responsible and always available. With her, even the closet shone!
Together with the other volunteer, she was the first to create excellent teamwork and was very good at transmitting the advantages of collaboration to the following volunteers.
Since then, it has been a continuous improvement so much so that we have reformulated some of our rules.
We are very happy to have met her

I had such a great time at the hostel!! Lisa and Enzo have been the most amazing hosts and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The work was straight-forward and as expected, simple. The location was amazing… central in town just a walk away from beautiful beaches. I couldn't recommend working with Lisa and Enzo enough!! They set the bar for my first volunteer experience very high and will definitely be hard for future experiences to beat. Their communication and kind nature is truly one of a kind!! :) 100/10!!!

This way my first experiance with volunteering abroad and with worldpackers and It couldn't be better. I spent a whole month there, duties were not heavy and didnt take much time so I could enjoy Sicily everyday. It was amazing experiance,everyday new guest from around the world, beautiful sunny weather and beach 10minutes from the hostel…I am also sure that you will be in love with city- Milazzo. The owners Enzo and Lisa are lovely people, they help with everything, always offer advice and are there for you. So dont worry if you thinking about stay in the hostel catch this opportunity!

I had a perfect stay with Lisa and Enzo! They are so kind and they always cared for me. The work was exactly like in the description and I still had enough time to discover Milazzo and all the beautiful places around the city. It's the perfect place if you want to meet people from all over the world, discover the city and relax at the beach as well. I would highly recommend!

I stayed two weeks at the hostel and had a great experience! Enzo and Marielisa are great hosts! The tasks were given daily in the morning, the work was basically cleaning common areas, making the beds, and reception (check-in). The ingredients for breakfast were provided. Accommodation was good, I shared the room with the other volunteer. The location was great, close to the port and center area; ~8 min walk distance from the beach and the market. Milazzo is also a beautiful city, I went to the Aeolian islands on my day off. I recommend it! Grazie mille! :)

La mia esperienza a Milazzo è stata molto positiva e piacevole. Ero impegnata principalmente la mattina, a volte nel pomeriggio capitava solo qualche check-in, e quindi il resto del giorno era tutto libero per poter visitare e andare al mare. Mi sono trovata bene sotto tutti gli aspetti, e c'è stato modo di fare anche molte conoscenze. Spero un giorno di tornare! 😊

My stay at the hostel was wonderful! I could not have asked for a better first Worldpackers experience. Mariaelena was a friendly host. She had a lot of patience and was extremely flexible. Enzo and Antonella who I often worked with were great, despite my not speaking Italian. Milazzo is also a beautiful city, with great access to the aeolian islands and surround cities, as well as delicious food! If you want to have a laid back experience in a small coastal town, I highly recommend.

I loved volunteering at the hostel. I was offered to stay in a cozy private room with AC which really made this experience much better considering how hot it has been here. The workload was not heavy at all, and even though most days I was the only one doing the cleaning it was really fine and super manageable because the hostel is pretty small. Mariaelena and Enzo are nice and friendly, and I got to practice my Italian with them. I'd say come if you're looking for a chill time and specially if you like spending time on your own, cause you'll have a lot of it.

María Elena is a kind hearted, considerate person. Best Worldpackers first experience, activities were explained correctly and expectations were given daily. Great communication. Lovely the hostel. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is interested in meeting international travelers that da night in Milazzo to hop on a ferry to go to the Aeolian Islands . Which by the way are just breathe taking!

This experience was awesome! The tasks are pretty easy and the schedule gives you a lot of free time to enjoy and explore Milazzo at your own pace. It's quite easy to find your way around, the port and public transportation are really close to the hostel and there are so many beautiful places to visit. Enzo and Mariaelena are always happy to help and provide information about the place. In general, everything was as expected and couldn't be happier for the time I spent there :)
