La Experiencia
2 MONTH COMMITMENT REQUIRED - Do not apply if you cannot commit to 2 months. Looking for bilingual extroverts with hospitality experience to help with the smooth running of our small hostel - weekends & holidays are required. Duties include checking in guests, helping & socializing with guests, planning & hosting events, and some light cleaning. We need outgoing & friendly people who are also professional, responsible and organized.

I couldn't have asked for a better first time volunteering experience! Yuli, Linda & Steve were so welcoming and they are lovely people. the hostel was comfortable and felt like home away from home. I had an amazing two months and would have stayed longer if my life circumstances were different. I thought I would struggle a little bit with keeping up with the socialising bit of the job but the hostel was the perfect size to have more meaningful and substantial conversations with guests that I met people I will remember for life! An absolutely rewarding experience for me :)

The hostel was the perfect first volunteering experience! :) The hours are fair, the apartment where we stayed was nice, and the work becomes easier over time. The social walk and aperitivo are also a really nice way to connect with people. Linda, Yuli, and Steve are always willing to help if you have any questions, and they're truly amazing people. I made some wonderful memories there, couldn't recommend this experience more! Rome is an incredible city, and staying at the hostel made it even better, they also have the best food recommendations!

The hostel was the best first experience I could have asked for as a volunteer. The owners are very welcoming and make you feel very confortable from the start. They were always very clear and communicative about what they expect from volunteers, and they let the volunteers themselves organize the schedule. The hostel's atmosphere is social in just the right way, and they promote social activities led by the volunteers, which helps us meet new people and makes the experience more fun! I definitely recommend it to everyone. Not to mention the amazing bagels!

I had the best time at the hostel, everything was so organized from the training to the schedule, and the owners (and Yuli) were always so responsive if there were any issues, any time of day! The work is fair and also really fun, social but not party which is perfect for me. Running the social walks was the highlight for me! Thank you so much Linda and Steve, I'll definitely be back to visit in the future!

I really enjoyed my time at the hostel! The owners were always friendly, reliable and if there was an issue, they helped us out at any time :) you had a clear structure, you're able to create your own schedule with the second volunteer (the hours are provided) and communication was really good! You also get your own apartment which is shared with the other volunteer, and the shifts were always manageable (only the Sundays felt long sometimes because you cover the whole day). All in all I can recommend!!
