I had an amazing stay in the hostel! The staff is very kind and helpful and sharing the experience with other volunteers was really fun. The location is good, since there is a bus stop close to the hostel and bikes to rent. Great opportunity to surf and explore the nature and the towns near by. The work was pretty nice and after work there's plenty of free time. I would definitely recommend this hostel to volunteer! 💓

Had an amazing time at the Cooly the hostel! The team made me feel super welcome from my first day, I learnt new skills and met some incredible people along the way. The managers were really accommodating when I started working other jobs and was overall a lovely environment to stay. Would deffo recommend :)

I had so much fun while being here! Tons of cool people to connect with, and a pretty chill environment! I Never ran out of things to do. The weekly family diners and events to attend really bring the community together. Thank you guys for an awesome opportunity!

The costal area of Coolangatta is a spectacular spot for exploration. We have the convenience of the airport behind, & the luxury of the beaches in front! Ebonie is a phenomenal host! Carries a warm & welcoming energy, knowledgeable about the area, generous with her time & attentive to your needs. The work itself is doable. Housekeeping, bathroom cleaning, hosting activities, cooking dinner. The living space is fair. A shared bunk room with other volunteers, couples are accommodated, though with little privacy. Overall I'd 100% recommend this Hostel dream to all & every backpacker or local!

The hostel was the best experience! The people at the hostel were so nice and I've met a lot of cool people and made a lot of new friends. Erin and Ebonie were so welcoming and helpful, especially, if you had any questions:) The work is also easy, well organized and you get to learn a lot of new stuff! Cooly is such a cool place in Gold Coast with a lot of things to do. Would highly recommend and thank you for having me!

I loved the volunteer and everyone who was a part of it, hosts and other volunteers. From the first day they made me feel at home, we were all like a big family and would recommend to anyone! The tasks are not hard and you have a lot of free time and bond immediately with everyone. A lot of guests came back as they loved the vibe. I had to leave a few days before my actual parting day due to work and everyone was very nice about it. Miss you already guys and thanks for everything!!!

Loved every second I spent in Cooley. Such a beautiful location on the Gold Coast made better with great hosts and friendly volunteers. Honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had! Thank you for having me!
