This was my first volunteer experience so I was kinda nervous/excited about it! When I first came to the guest house I felt very welcome, Hugh is a kind and hardworking guy trying to improve his business every day, a very caring boss! The tasks are very easy to learn but if you don't have experience it might feel a little hard, but I personally think it was very easygoing and we had plenty of free time and flexibility. About the accommodation I stayed in the basement, with three more people, the space is big and it has a lot of potential, I'll definitely come back in my next visit, it was incredible!

I had a great stay at the guest house! The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and the food they provide was okay: ramen,bread, nutella, rice. They also have laundry and a dryer, which was super convenient. The host is kind and helpful, and the volunteers were all so nice — they really made the experience better. The location is okay, not the best, but still manageable. Overall, I had a great time and definitely recommend staying here!

The guest house was my first Worldpackers experience, and overall it was really good! Hugh is such a sweet person. He was always quick to answer and very welcoming. His wife was also super sweet. The work was easy to learn and generally simple, though sometimes the amount of work felt a bit uneven depending on check-out days. Still, it was all manageable and fair overall. I met such lovely people during my stay, and that made the experience even more special. 🥹 The guesthouse has a cozy, friendly vibe. I recommend!

Volunteer at the guest house was such an amazing and positive experience. I stayed here for 40 days and it was the first time volunteering and travel by myself but everything went pertectly, Hugh is very hospitable and especially very attentive to our needs. l'd recommend this 100%, I'm more than satisfied with my experience and l also met wonderful people, for example my roommate and create a lot of memories together. I really hope to come back one day and work is such great team again :)

Working at the guest house Hostel was a very positive experience. It was my first time working with Worldpackers, so I was a bit stressed, but everything turned out really great. Hugh is a wonderful host who responds quickly to all messages and helps solve any problems. The work wasn't hard and was 100% in line with what I'd agreed to. The people on my team were wonderful, and we created many unforgettable memories together. the guest house became my home away from home. All in all, I highly recommend it :)

This volunteering experience is truly amazing! The work is not too many hours and quite easy, which gives you plenty of time to explore and enjoy so many beautiful places in Seoul. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful yet fun experience!

It was a very positive experience. Our host Hugh is a very attentive, respectful person who cares about the well-being of the volunteers. When we mentioned the humidity in our room, he did everything possible to fix it. Cleaning work can be tough depending on the number of rooms to clean, but we always work with a partner, which makes it a bit easier. As for the guys I volunteered with, I can only say they have been the best teammates I've ever had, I'll miss them a lot!

Loved my time here!! Hugh is super nice and helpful, always making sure everyone feels comfortable. The work is simple and there's plenty of free time to explore the city or connect with other volunteers. This experience was amazing! The guesthouse is only 30 minutes from the center of Seoul by subway (the station was just a 7-min walk). The tasks were easy. I only did the cleaning shift, which was from 11 AM to 3 or 4 PM. After finishing the cleaning, we had to stay at the reception. We also had three consecutive days off, which gave us time to explore. I shared the room with three other girls. It was very large and comfortable, we had a lot of space for our belongings. Hugh was really an amazing host, kind, attentive and always making sure we had everything we needed. I recommend it!
