I had a great time here. The dorm was very clean and a nice place to live. There were 2 bedrooms (4people each) and if you are lucky you get the top bunk :-). There were also 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a big living room and a washing machine. My favorite was the 24hour ice cream shop on the 2nd floor. I enjoyed meeting students and new friends at the school and outside the school. This position is definitely easier if you are outgoing/extroverted but if you are not that shouldn't stop you from coming. It is in an excellent location (cca 35 to Seoul on a bus). I'm looking forward coming back.

It was hard for me to adjust at first but the host really seemed to care about me and others and it made my stay so much better then it would have been without the host. It is definitely a comfortable dorm.

The work at the Academy was really the best part of my stay. The student were really sweet and interested in sharing experiences by discussing together. It really felt like meeting and chatting with Friends ! The big negative part was that I didn't felt comfortable at the stay. The people actually working there to help volunteers didn't make me feel welcomed at all and were sometimes rude. Which is really sad because it's not the point of being a host. Unfortunately, because of the weird and heavy atmosphere I left 1 month earlier.

Hope you're doing well. It would have been nice if you were a little bit more transparent when I looked for you to understand what happened, and maybe we could have solved the issue in person before you left with the proper maturity and better approach.
Thus, you should consider that we have tried our best to help you by taking you to the hospital more than once when you got sick, as you don't speak the local language and even being lenient and flexible with your working schedule when you were not able to work for a few days, which is not common. I hope you can have better communication with your next host, coming from both sides.

I loved my stay here! The experience was so good for immersing in Korean culture and learning about the society in South Korea. The students were fun and welcoming. The dorm can be crowded but if you can get along with people well enough you'll love it! The roommates I met were the best part.

Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. At first, it can be hard to talk to people but there's so much to learn about the culture. The apartment is really pleasant and close to the academy. The team is great and you can talk to Cassia if you need anything. It's a bit difficult to organize days with the other volunteers, but that's mainly because everyone's schedules are different. Seongnam may look far from Seoul but in reality by bus, it's very quick. Choose this volunteering if you want to help the locals to improve their English, learn a lot about Korean culture and visit Seoul.

I had a great time at the language academy. I would recommend this volunteering for people who are extroverted and can talk a lot or people who want to force themselves out of the comfort zone. All the students were super nice but as expected some were really talk-active and some were shy so I had to ask a lot of question to make them talk. We were 8 people in the apartment but since we had two bedrooms and two bathrooms it was no problem. Bundang is a nice place and it is easy to go to Seoul. It was a great experience and I thank everybody from the apartment to make my time there special.

Had a wonderful time with this volunteering position and met a lot of great people, volunteers and locals, who I spent a lot of time with. The work was agreed in advance and was pretty straightforward, and the dorms were comfy. Would totally do it again and would recommend it to everyone!

This opportunity was a great way to have contact with local people and learn more about korean culture. The dorm and building are great and Bundang is a very nice city. It's easy to get to Seoul from there. I'd say the one thing they could improve is to introduce the new volunteers to the staff and explain all the little details from the academy from the beginning. Thanks for everything guys, hope to see you again in the future~

Overall experience was great! I had a wonderful time with other travellers and students from the studio. Work itself is not hard at all and gives you a lot of opportunities to meet locals which I really enjoyed. The dorm was always clean and the cleaning duties were done every week. I really appreciate the time that I have spent there, this is an amazing experience!

I can absolutely recommend the Academy for other travelers! I stayed there for 1 month and I gathered many memories that I will charish for a lifetime. The accomodation is spaceous, comfortable, clean and has a nice kitchen too. The work is really simple and enjoyable. You have to talk with locals basically about anything. It's such a win-win. Getting to know the students is part of the experience. They can share a lot about their own culture and life in Korea. The Academy team, aka the hosts are kind, communicative and always available. Thanks for accepting me to spend June with you guys!
