Estou completamente apaixonada por toda a experiência que tive, o quanto me desenvolvi estando no hostel e por todas as pessoas. Uma experiência enriquecedora, na qual pude praticar muito o espanhol e o inglês em todas as atividades. Tive contato com pessoas de diferentes países, conheci a cultura local e vivenciei coisas incríveis. Só tenho a agradecer por tudo, amei cada dia que passei no hostel. Muito obrigada o hostel e equipe.

It was a crazy great experience to live at la cas the hostel, to translate the tours in daaaa jungle 🐊🐊🐒🐒, learn how to make incredible caipirinhas 🍸 and the best scrumble eggs ! The planning was agreed upon beforehand, you'll sleep in a dorm with other volunteers, 4 showers around the hostel ( 2 are outside around the pool niiiice!), and in your free time you can enjoy this weird little corner of earth ! Big up to Julio, Mauricio, Viktor, Selina and all the team 💜💜💜💜🎈🎈🎈🎈

The hostel and Amazon Experience are, just the best places in Leticia for volunteering. Very flexible, the energy in the staff team members it's amazing. In the hostal you can feel at home. It very calm, you can meets guests from all over the world. If you are thinking about going to the amazons the hostel it's the best option. Don't forget to ask for Julio, Jose or Jota. ❤️

One of the best volunteering experiences (and I volunteered a lot). The tasks are easy, vary a lot and Julio is very flexible when it comes to your shifts. I enjoyed switching between serving breakfast, shaking cocktails, working at reception and translating tours. Through the tours, I got the amazing opportunity to learn more about indigenous communities, their traditions, the rainforest and his animals. When working at the hostel, there is a lot of time to relax, enjoy the pool and do activities with other volunteers (even if it's just going out to eat, having ice cream or some drinks ;))

This was my first volunteering experience and it was absolutely incredible, the staff is really welcoming ,everyone has a really great vibe and makes you feel at home, about the work, the jungle tours are something else, the work in reception is not too hard and they give you an introduction , Julio always tried to organize our shifts in a way that we could get to know more in Leticia and it's surroundings and the rest days were as agreed, the facilities are really nice and the pool is amazing , I totally recommend this experience and I'm really grateful to have met all of the staff 💗

This was a truly superb experience. Owners, manager, staff, volunteers, travellers, the place, the tours, everything adds up to an amazing experience. This was my first volunteering and I couldn't be happier. I 100% recommended this place, the staff and owners were lovely, attentive, flexible and welcoming. I have fell in love with Leticia and the hostel is now a second home. I'll definitely be back!

This is the best volunteering experience I've had by a wide margin. The guests are really cool and the hostel is popular so you will have a good time working reception but it is not difficult work at all. The tours are outstanding, really highlights, and they made sure all volunteers got opportunities to go on tours as translators. The only thing I would say is make sure you advocate for yourself about scheduling if you want more than one day off at a time—they will respect your requests but you may be asked to work reception without much advance notice from time to time.

A experiência no hostel foi realmente incrível! Cheguei em temporada de férias Europa/EUA e com isso tive a possibilidade de sair 4x para 2 tours diferentes como tradutora. Aprendi muito sobre a cultura amazônica já que os guias sempre eram de diferentes etnias e visitamos atrações bem tradicionais e reais. Pura imersão na Amazônia. O hostel tem um ambiente que lembra casa, as pessoas se reunem mas não são grandes festas a ponto de atrapalhar quem precisa descansar, o que foi ótimo para mim. Equipe e voluntários sempre simpáticos e acolhedores. Amei tudo!
