Tuve una increíble experiencia en el hostel, desde un principio siempre hubo mucho respeto y flexibilidad por parte de los hosts, se encargaron de dejar todo listo para que pudiera tener una gran estadía. Y ni hablar el hostel personas que trabajan en el hostal y demás voluntarios, ellos son los que hacen que el hostal este siempre lleno de buena vibra y buen ambiente, definitivamente un lugar al que quiero volver.

Definitivamente un hogar lejos el hostel, Jota y Jose son los mejores anfitriones que pude tener, siempre se preocuparon porque disfrutara mi estadía, tienen una energía increíble al igual que todas las personas que trabajan en otras labores del hostal. Si en verdad sueñas con conocer el Amazonas y su gente, este es el lugar ideal, no me equivoqué en elegir el hostel como mi primer voluntariado y llevaré a todas las personas que conocí en el corazón para siempre.

Both Jota and Jose are wonderful hosts which will make you feel home from the first second. They are also always happy to help and very flexible with everything. I was able to choose exactly ther dates I wanted, extend my stay, go for some days away in between... The hostal is a really nice place, great to meet people and working in reception is relatively easy. If you are able to speak both english and spanish you will also have the chance to work as a translator on the tours their agency offers, which is a great experience! Recommend 100 per cent volunteering here!

The hostel was a great experience. Being a translator in the Amazon was somenthing amazing and the tasks in the hostel (mostly reception) were very easy. The owners Jose and Jota are just great; They are super easygoing, flexibale with working days and always available, they make you feel at home. The hostel has great vibes and this volunteering was a great opportunity to learn about the Amazonas, to meet locals and learn about the indigena community. Highly reccomanded.

En general fue buena la experiencia. Conocí a gente muy hermosa ahí. Pero si tengo recomendaciones; no dejar totalmente solos a los voluntarixs en recepción pueden haber muchos errores que pueden perjudicar al hostal. Me vuelo a disculpar por todas mis metidas de pata. A los traductores darles más tiempo de descanso ya que los tours son muy bellos y divertidos pero si llegas cansado y necesitas recuperarte. Tratar más bonito y pagarle más equitativamente a sus empleados. Siento que puede ser mucho mejor de lo que es. Les agradezco mucho chicos por todo los aprendido.

Una gran experiencia, pero tengo criticas. Los tours como tal son geniales, pero no deja de ser un trabajo, y la compensación no me parece suficiente. El cuarto de los voluntarios nunca recibía limpieza, yo la hice una vez en un día libre y en cuatro semanas no vi a nadie más hacerlo. El almuerzo es el mas barato de todo Leticia y los días de descanso no tienes almuerzo. Los tours son de varios días y cada día tiene la equivalencia de 5hs de recepción, aunque se trabajan casi que las 24 horas, y el turista paga por esto. Creo que esto debe mejorar, y tal vez reducir el tiempo min a 2 semanas.

Volunteering at the hostel is a great but also challenging experience. The hostel and the other volunteers are great, there is a swimming pool and exercise area, only the volunteer's room is a bit small and messy. Sometimes volunteers have to sleep in hammocks if there are more volunteers than beds, and also you won't keep the same bed during your stay. I really liked translating in the jungle tours but it would have been great to get the two agreed free days in a row afterwards. More coordination of the volunteer's working schedule would have been helpful.

A pesar de que tuve que irme de urgencia pasados unos días y no logré completar la totalidad de mi viaje, el hostel me recibió con los brazos abiertos, tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en uno de sus tours y conocer la selva amazónica! El sitio es tranquilo y recomendado para quienes quieran ir a desconectarse del mundo y conectarse con la naturaleza
