La Experiencia

I'm Lakpa Dawa Cerpa, from Lungzik. I'm running a primary school for the betterment of children who can't afford hefty fees structure in the convents. I'm in need of volunteers to teach English/Arts & Crafts/Language/Maths subjects for the primary school children in Sardong-Lungzik, West Sikkim. We offer you free accomodation for your period of stay at our school and also help you with exploring the nearby places during the week-off's.

Can't thank you enough Dawa sir😊 It was truly a rewarding experience that I will never forget. Dawa sir was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment I arrived. He made me feel right at home and he takes me outisde when the the school is off. I was not only given the opportunity to teach the children but also did a variety of tasks for the the school. The environment was so peaceful and serene. The views from the mountain where the the school is located was simply breathtaking. I would conclude my feedback by expressing gratitude for the oppurtunity to volunteer in your the school🙏😊

If you love spending time with kids, this volunteering will be perfect for you. -The host is great; he taught me about his culture and took me to different places of Sikkim. He was always willing to help me 10/10 😊 -the the school and hostel facilities are great, you will have fun teaching English to these kids.

Hello everyone... I have stayed for one month the place and view is really great. kids are soo sweet and welcoming.Food is really healthy, i really enjoyed the organic food. People who likes trekking is a plus point in this place. Thanks a lot to dawa sirs family, they have taken care of me and guided me very well. I have learned so many new things and made new friends, people there are really nice and welcoming I had fun 😁.

It was my first experience to travel alone.but it was indeed a nice one.I got a homely environment to stay.Dawa sir is a friend ly person...His work for the children is to be appreciated.He takes care of the children as his own children.Our country needs to have the people like him.All my blessings to him and his team

We made history together. I stayed for a few months at the the school, and Mr. Dawa Sir was definitely the best host I could have had. I was treated like family the whole time. I got the chance to teach kids, be part of Academic management, and meet families & kids. We started to build a sustainable model for the the school so that it wouldn't depend only on donations. Mr. Dawa Sir is a brilliant person with a lot of street knowledge. Also, he took me to some fantastic sights in Sikkim.
