Can be a genuinely amazing experience if you are open to hard work and lowering your life standards. The animals here are the kindest/ cuddliest I've ever met so the work can be very rewarding and you can go to the beach every day if you like. The staff house is not very clean, and the hygiene in general is lacking because they don't have a lot of resources. Would recommend at least bringing your own hand sanitizer and being a bit extra cautious with your personal hygiene. The work can be quite chaotic because they are going through difficult times but amazing people trying their best!

Hello Carlotta, thanks for your few days with us and your honest opinion!
it's true that our animals are the kindest, that's it's an extreme hard work but so rewarding and that our team is full of amazing people trying there best : that's all that matter for us! Concerning the staff house it's true that it's really basics accommodation, but it's clean at least, hygiene depends on the what the volunteers there made of it, that's the responsibility of each volunteer who sleep there to clean the shared space and rooms :)

This was an incredible experience volunteering at the shelter. Every member was excellent, welcoming and truly cared for each individual the organization. I could not recommend this more.

It's a really nice experience, everyone, volunteers and workers are so kind and the dogs so lovely. It's true that the work can be dirty sometimes but they aware you before you go there so everything it's okay.

Thanks for your comment Jacobo! You are totally right it's an hard and dirty job, but we always try to be clear before the arrival of volunteer about how overwhelming it can be physically and mentally. I will add that we are really grateful to have you back for a second time volunteering!

My experience at Morroco the organization was really special! The team is super friendly and it was easy to get to know everyone. The work is exhausting but doable and the dogs are so sweet.

What an amazing experience!! I loved working with the animals even if it was pretty hard mentally. Working hours were respected and the living space was pretty nice! The workers were all pretty nice and accommodating!! Would love to come back one day!!

I don't know where to start but it was a positive experience for me. I learned loyalty, commitment, dealing with animals and giving them the love they need. Also, foreign visitors exchange cultures and live a new experience.

Such a very unique experience... I stayed for 2 weeks and I learnt so much; about the work, the culture, and also about myself. We lived in community, volonteers from around the world and the organization, sharing most of the time together: the work of course, but also good meals, an afternoon at the beach or just a good time speaking on the rooftop... It's really a wonderful place if you wants to meet and live with so different people. Of course you have to love animals but the work is sometimes hard, exhausting. It takes energy, but give you back so much more...cause you're useful and it means all✨
