In questo mese abbiamo fatto la nostra prima esperienza di volontariato con worldpackers, e non potevamo scegliere meglio! L'ostello era magnifico e la città bellissima e storica, inoltre, le ore di lavoro erano rispettate e avevamo una stanza privata con solo i volontari! All'the guest house ci siamo sentiti come a casa e il mese e volato, abbiamo conosciuto tantissime nuove persone e fatto belle esperienze Grazie mille soprattutto alla proprietaria Ana che ci ha trattato benissimo e ci ha sempre regalato un sorriso e al grande rodri col suo sushi!!

We had a really great time at AlKatre Hostel! The work mainly consists of cleaning and sometimes maintenance tasks like painting furniture, walls etc. but it's very easy to do and the hours are very fair. Ana is a really great host and made sure we felt at home in the hostel. It's the perfect place to go if you want to explore the beautiful city of Córdoba (as the hostel is literally one minute from the Mezquita) and meet new people.

Foi uma experiência excepcional! Me proporcionou uma verdadeira imersão na cultura espanhola e tive o prazer de conhecer uma cidade linda, com uma história riquíssima e muita vida! As tarefas eram tranquilas e variavam bastante, indo desde limpeza a pintura. Os turnos eram leves e de curta duração, em pouco mais de 2 horas. Então sobrava bastante tempo para conhecer a região. A anfitriã Ana é uma pessoa incrível, muito querida e preocupada com o bem-estar de todos os hóspedes e voluntários, só tenho a agradecer pela recepção calorosa! Recomendo a todos!

Minha experiência no the guest house sempre será lembrada com muito carinho. Córdoba é uma cidade maravilhosa e the guest house transmite tudo de bom que essa cidade possui. Ana é uma pessoa incrível, assim como as outras pessoas que trabalham lá, e não surpreende que the guest house seja um hostel acolhedor e bem cuidado. O voluntariado é muito tranquilo e com tarefas variadas, o que me deu a oportunidade de aprender também. Semore serei grata pela oportunidade de conhecer Córdoba. Um mês é pouco para descobrir os encantos dessa cidade e da região da Andaluzia. Que isso seja apenas um hasta luego!

The tasks are simple, and the agreed working hours are respected. It's a good place if you're looking to discover the city during your free time. Unfortunately, the experience didn't work out well for me personally, as the listing mentioned a night shift that didn't exist. While the host initially said it wouldn't be a problem and that there would be some flexibility, my volunteering was ended after I couldn't follow the schedule once.

I had such a nice time here! Easy work, good hours, nice people! I felt at home right away. Cordoba is such a lovely town, and this hostel is located in such a nice place, in the most beautiful Andalusian building. Thank you for everything!

My experience with the guest house was excellent. The work is repetitive but easy and the hours are minimal with plenty of time to explore the area. Ana and Vicky are kind hosts who were more than accommodating when I got sick for several days. The hostel is lovely and Cordoba is beautiful. I will treasure my time there.

This hostel is very homely and you will feel very settled in as soon as you get there. The working hours are very easy and flexible. You can travel to local cities on your days off. Cordoba is beautiful however there is not a great deal to do there/not super social. I would recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing experience to immerse yourself in local culture. Victoria the host was extremely welcoming :)

Ana and Vitória are incredible, they are super welcoming, so much so that I felt at home. The hostel is wonderful and super well located. The work is not difficult and the accommodation for volunteers is great. The city is super beautiful. It was my first volunteering and it was worth every second, I loved the experience and I highly recommend it. Thank you Ana and Victoria, I will miss you all ❤️
