My time in Meet Garda Hostel was lovely, all the staff are really nice, thanks to Alessio and Mateo that made this experience even more wonderful and the girls in reception that would always have a big smile for you. Work sometimes is hard but schedule is always fixed and you get helped. I made life-time friends with the other volunteers and every day was a dream. All lake garda is beutiful and you have tons of free time to explore and enjoy. I hope to come back one day. The few issues we had mostly with the security guard were talked and everyone wass very understanding.

One of the best things about Meet is the location. There are a bunch of small, charming towns around Lake Garda that you can explore. And if you're craving a bigger city, you've got options too. The work itself is pretty easy but consists of a few hours in the morning and then a few hours at night. Your free time is more limited as a result, specially when going on a day trip. Updating the description to say you'll only work one shift a day when there are enough volunteers seems like an easy solution to avoid creating false expectations. Had a great time overall though. Grazie mille everyone!

My time in Meet was unforgettable, I had an amazing time. The staff and other volunteers were very kind and always willing to help. They really appreciate your work. The guests were also super friendly, you meet people from all over the world! The location is exceptional to get to know northern Italy. There are a few small towns around the lake which are perfect to explore after working or on your day off. The hostel is clean and with a lot of places to relax, the rooms are very comfortable too. Thank you so much for the experience! Can't wait to return in the future!

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. The work was split across two shifts in the day. One shift in the morning, which involved setting up the breakfast buffet, serving coffees and cleaning the common areas. The other shift was working at the bar in the evening. Sometimes if it was quiet, I was given the evening off to enjoy the day. I had a lot of free time to explore and relax by Lake Garda. All the full-time staff were friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this experience, especially if you'd like to explore the surrounding areas of Lake Garda.

The hostel was a fun experience and lake garda is absolutely beautiful, the hostel is in a good location, close to a lot of things. the tasks are not overly difficult or complicated and it's easy to pick up quickly.

I enjoyed my time at the hostel. It has everything you need. The receptionist team is really nice and kind so you can count on them at any questions about transport and tourist attractions to visit in your day off. Somedays, I did the morning shift and other days in the night shift. The volunteer work at that position is very dinamic, so you have to be fast if there are several guests. I'm just grateful that i was accepted cause I learned a lot! And met wonderful people <3 the only thing to keep in mind as other comments said is that you'll be mixed with guests.

Overall the experience was good. Peschiera is a great spot to be in if you want to explore the lake or take day trips to Venice, Milan or Bologna. The team is quite friendly and can be accommodating, however some disorganisation caused quite a bit of frustration. Working here you really need to speak up for yourself and make sure to communicate when there are problems because the volunteer manager is usually quite understanding.

First of all, the place and the location is beautifull! But, there is som general problems with the one being responsible for the volunteers. If you want to volunteer here, be ready to voice your opinion and don't get offended by a stressful comment while working. You will sleep in the rooms with the guest, so for me it also felt like you were permanently working, because you'd always have to be polite and help answering their questions, even when you want to relax. I'm sure there is something to be done about these problems between the volunteers and the staff - good comunication needed.

My stay in this hostel was a mixed experience. The staff was really nice, welcoming and helped me with problems. However I feel like there is much to improve in organisation, leadership and communication. We did work two shifts, not one shift as stated in the description, that made going on trips throughout the day more stressful. Also they didn't have a room for just volunteers, we slept in one room with the guest, who were sometimes annoyed of us getting up early or coming in late. Nevertheless this stay was not bad in my opinion, there are just a few things which need to be improved.

My experience here was decent. It was neither bad nor great. I felt welcomed the first time and I was told by the one in-charge of the volunteers to stay relaxed and calm during work but in the end it never felt like that. From the first day it was already chaotic, I was told to do two things at once out of impatience and I was always stuck in a confusion that sometimes my tasks were interrupted halfway which eventually led to my morning shifts finishing later. The commands were off-putting that led me and other volunteers moved around too much but I have hopes this will improve. :)
