The hostel offers a peaceful atmosphere that blends business with the beauty and history of Northern Ireland. Erika is not only a fantastic boss but also a great friend and storyteller. Her passion and dedication are evident in every detail. During downtime, we often baked, did crafts, and chatted around the dinner table. I feel so lucky to have been part of this hostel, even if only for a short time. I'm grateful for the warm hospitality, thank you for having me!

Volunteering at the hostel was such a wonderful experience! It's such a cosy hostel, the rooms are great and the breakfast was so good with so many options! Erika truly made my stay feel like a home away from home, and was always on hand if I had any questions! The relaxed and comforting atmosphere here made it super easy to make friends to chat with all evening! I couldn't recommend volunteering here more, Belfast is beautiful and Erika has all the best recommendations for where to visit during your stay! I hope to return in the future!! ◡̈

This hostel is a cosy home away from home and was a great spot for me to do my first ever hostel volunteering work! Erika is a bubbly and friendly coworker/boss who was clear and direct with what she wanted and helped me to get stuck in and to crack on. This hostel is very chill and calm, a great place to work or visit. I thoroughly enjoyed Belfast, it is a great spot, with great people, thank you! All the best, Brionny! :)

I had a wonderful time volunteering at the hostel! Erika is an amazing host, she is very kind, knowledgeable, and considerate. The schedule is very reasonable and pleasant, and there is plenty of time to discover the beautiful surroundings of Belfast. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone thinking of doing it! The hostel truly felt like a home away from home! Erika is the most wonderful host who gives her all into the hostel and genuinely cares about all the people who visit. The work was exactly as expected/agreed upon, and there was heaps of free time for exploring Belfast/Northern Ireland. I felt so comfortable during my stay, and highly recommend this hostel for anybody who gets the opportunity :)

Erika is a great host and makes everyone feel welcome. I volunteered at the same time as another girl which was nice to have someone else doing it too! The kitchen is well equipped and you are able to help yourself to free breakfast, rice and pasta as well as free laundry - although there's only one washing machine!

Since I arrived, Erika had made me feel completely welcome and had been very chill about everything. She's just a chill person which is really nice to be around. She helps anyone who asks and will run around after anyone. The work is hard but completely fun. There's leniency on when to get jobs done, so for example I get up extremely early and start on setting up the breakfast area and cleaning the communal facilities. I then sit with everyone to eat breakfast. Erika treats everyone the same and I've never seen her not being kind and helpful. Erika is kind, compassionate and friendly.

This was the best first volunteering experience I could ever ask for! Erika was a lovely host and the tasks were quick to pick up on. The hostel felt very comfortable and I had the best time surrounded by the most wonderful people. I would definitely recommend to any travellers wanting to visit and explore Northern Ireland whilst being able to come back to a cosy environment to rest after a long day of adventure :)

This was my first experience volunteering through worldpackers and I really enjoyed my stay here. I felt so welcome and safe and the work was well communicated and very manageable. The environment of the hostel itself is also lovely and I met so many amazing people. I would highly recommend volunteering here!

Love this hostel! It's the best experience I have had thus far volunteering. It's a small hostel with a majority of great guests that come around. If you can ever volunteer here I highly recommend it Erika is the sweetest and coolest person I've ever met.
