This was my first volunteer experience and it was fantastic! The kids were lovely , even though I couldn't speak Russian we tried to communicate through gestures and it was fun playing with them. I went during Christmas time, there were a lot of Christmas events for kids so my task involved preparing stuff for those events and looking after the kids. The house is very comfy and everything you need is there. Alex and her partner Dana were very nice, we had good chat almost everyday during breakfast and dinner. Special thank you to Dana for making delicious meals! Thank you for pleasant stay!!

It was fun and new experience that I had in Germany. I got to know that there are many Russian immigrants and Ukraine refugees in Germany, and that it is good for kids to have an opportunity to learn their mother tongue. Even though, they are not living in Russia. The kids were lovely and joyful. Teachers were respectful and kind. Though, I was very shy to speak Russian. I definitely enjoyed just to have listened Russian language. Sometimes host cooked delicious foods. I was also able to cook with the ingredients in there. The host is very hard worker. She works a-lot with lots of passion.

I really loved my time at the school! I learned a lot about children education here and the children are super sweet. Most of my work was to look after the children and play with them, and to do other different tasks for the center. So you definitely never would be bored. If you interesting to learn about children education this place is perfect for you! Alexandra and Dana are nice and very welcoming! It was amazing two weeks, thank you for everything!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and it went satisfying. Alexandra was a very accommodating host, understanding and helpful in many ways. As for tasks, I work as an accountant in an educational center, so upon my arrival I got assigned to a task that matches my field of expertise. I also had to da little of creative work with the team upon my request. I call my first experience a success and it left a good impact on my journey in Europe.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers and I spent a pleasant week with very welcoming hosts in Hannover. I was very impressed with the educational centre the school, which offers various fun activities for the children that help them socialise and keep in touch with their mother tongue and culture. While helping out I've enjoyed exploring Hannover as I was given a flexible schedule - so no day was boring. Thank you so much for the valuable experience and your hospitality!

I highly recommend this host. It was a great opportunity to get to know the city, new people and of course the kids! The team is very friendly and Alexandra selects tasks according to your personal interests, which is very important! Working with children was the most exciting memory for me. Many thanks to Dana for cooking, the food was excellent! Sasha and Dana, i really appreciate the time we spent together, hope to see you again!

A great chance to help kind folks at a non-profit promoting bilingualism! The first week, I was a cook, gardener, and photographer during animation camp. The second week, I helped with renovations, which included painting walls, organizing food, and cleaning windows. Some teachers, volunteers, and kids speak English and German, but you'll be able to socially engage with everyone more if you speak Russian. The apartment was cozy and the walk to work was pleasant. In my free time, I explored Hannover and I spent the weekend in Berlin, not too far by train. Overall, an interesting experience.

This was my first experience at worldpackers and I had such a great time! The tasks were exactly as we agreed and if something wasn't as expected, we could easily communicate and solve it. Alex were very nice and welcoming, the mood at the school with the other volunteers was awesome and the kids were super cute. I certainly recommend this experience to other travelers!

My experience was absolutely amazing!! Alex is very kind and the tasks are super fun and simple. I could get to know better Hannover because of the things that I had to do as volunteer. I also had a lot of free time for going out for walks and visit Hannover parks. I really recommend this experience!!
