It was the best experience as a volunteer that we had. Viktor is an amazing guy to talk with and to laugh with, he helped us with everything we needed. We felt like we were part of a familly there! The terrain on the mountain is astonishing. The place is so calm and peaceful full of great energies♥️ Definitely would go back there in an upcoming opportunitie.

If I could I wouldn't leave. Amazing experience, everything is very good! Dormitory, structure, food, staff. Victor is a wonderful person, always very kind and friendly. Bea, László, Matt, are great work partners. I will miss working with these people. I learned a lot from Hungary culture. I hope to come back here again. My best volunteer experience! Love you guys. And Victor, thank you so much for fixed my glasses, I'm very grateful.

This is a place for those who want complete isolation. The activities include: to clean the rooms, to organize the beds, to spend many hours frying pancakes, to select cans for recycling, to take the trash in plastic bags and put them in a container, and to put wood in a system to warm the building. If you are looking for a place to isolate yourself, this is a good one. You can enjoy the trees, bats and birds at night. But if you need social contact with people at your age or other travellers to talk, then it is not.

I had a great time there, and they all made me feel like a part of the team. The job was very nice and I had a lot of free time to enjoy nature, the hikes around the place, and to rest. I hope I can come back again soon :)

Needed a quick trip to fill a gap,awaiting my next trip.The warm reception from the host,and the consideration he gave to my needs,made a lasting impression.The tasks were easy,the team spirit with which we worked made me wish the work never ended.I had a lot of free time to attend to my personal needs and did explore the forest whenever I felt like it.It is an amazing place to cool off from the bustling city life.1st time I was able to not only get close to a dog but also befriend.I enjoyed every moment of my stay.I wished there'd never be a time to say goodbye. But Alas!there was!Was sad!

I received warmth from the very first second straight to the last from every crew member in this hostel. The work isn't demanding at all, some of them are actually therapeutic in a way, e.g. making pancakes, peeling potatoes. I loved chatting with the team while working with them, loved the free spirit and kind hearts, and the open minds and respectful attitudes. Also, The private room and the panoramic view of the cit were a plus and great comfort. It's very lucky for me to be accepted to work here. I would definitely come back to work for longer if possible.

Our time volunteering at the hostel was absolutely lovely, and one month definitely wasn't enough. The work was never too taxing, and Viktor was an amazingly caring and supportive host. The team where really fun to work with, and all just lovely people. In your free time you will be able to explore the national park woodlands the hostel is situated in, which are really beautiful.
