I'd highly recommend the hostel to other Worldpackers. The team is great and the work that you do is flexible to your skill sets. the hostel supports a local orphanage so my main big task was coordinating their Christmas lunch and gifts for the children, which was incredible to be a part of. My hours were pretty self directed, but there was always someone around for support. I would love to come back someday! Zikomo Jollys

This month in livingstone has been amazing! Jolly's is a truly amazing place. The work is very easy and fun! The staff is amazing everybody's so friendly and welcoming. It really feels like a family! A big thanks and I will really miss u guys. Ruth,Sam,Lloyd,Moyo, Millias, Simon and Merlyn and everybody else. Zikomo❤️❤️🇿🇲

Volunteering at the hostel was amazing; the place is beautiful and incredibly cozy! Everyone is extremely kind here. You have complete freedom to explore the cities and tours, and they make you feel very comfortable with your daily tasks. It's a hostel where you not only meet the hostel but also experience local culture and locals! You can truly immerse yourself in the country's culture. Livingstone in Zambia is wonderful, an incredible city with very friendly people and lots to do! Cherish every moment here; you won't regret it! And Zikomo for everything.

This experience was unreal and better than I could have ever imagined! Kim, along with everyone at the hostel, made my first ever trip with World Packers a very hard one to beat. Communication was prompt and efficient, and everything discussed and agreed upon was followed. My time at the hostel was truly life changing. I helped out where needed; either behind the bar, communicating with the team, or giving information out to guests. I made lifelong friends, experienced a new culture and had once in a lifetime experiences in Livingstone. I can't give enough thanks for this opportunity!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hostel for around 2 weeks and had a great time! Kim (and the rest of the staff) is super nice, and told us a lot of times that the most important thing was for us to have fun. Unfortunately, we didn't have a Zambian business visa, so there were things that we weren't able to do, like work behind the bar. Our work was really simple and not very time consuming at all: taking instagram pictures, decorating chalk boards in the morning and making sure the guests had a good time. It was a great experience and we are so grateful! Thank you to everyone at the hostel :)

My experience at the hostel was amazing. The staff were so Kind helped me settle in well. I learnt a lot during my stay. Got to meet the locals and learn Nyanja the local language. I got to see amazing landscapes, wildlife as l was creating content best experience ever. I recommend you apply you will love it here

At the hostel we were responsible for taking photos and videos for there social media pages. This experience enabled us to meet people from so many different walks of life including those local to Livingstone. Kim, our host, was so supportive and encouraged us to engage with the environment around us even though we were communicating virtually. She was always quick to respond to our messages and helped us whenever we asked. The whole staff of the hostel was very welcoming and friendly especially the reception staff. Would definitely recommend the hostel to other Worldpackers!

Heart broken . At first I found bestie and family , and desirable touristic activities . I gave my whole ! as always… Then, all of a sudden , out of the blue - the mood changed . I was a party promoter. Despite me providing free drinks, snacks, activities and all best of vibration - One sunny morning - boss decided was not proper anymore ?! No respect for some curtesy of knowing what was misunderstood by me . Was kicked out ! without even having the courage to look into my eyes while explaining kindly the wrongs of my doings. I was dammed by a group , and never got to know the reason .

We are sorry that this didn't work out for both of us - however, after the third time of needing to discuss your behaviour, we felt like things just weren't changing and we had too many complaints.

Livingstone and Zambia as a country is such an amazing place go to !! The experience with the hostel was unique and I would do it all over again. It was so much fun. You can meet a lot of locals, international travelers, make so many activities around Livingstone and have a nice stay at an really good Hostel. The staff is amazing and they become like a small family after one month! Will visit one day again for sure 😍 Can recommend for 100%

One of the best experiences of my life! Kim is just the best host you could ever have, the hostel is a paradise, so comfortable and the people are amazing! Felt at home, learned a lot, had incredible experiences in Livingstone! Forever in my heart!
