It was my first volunteering and truly a great experience! The work was super easy and I had a lot of free time during the day to do whatever I wanted. The hostel is in a good location and it's easy to get around and explore. It's not a super social hostel, there's no planned activities but I still found friends in the other volunteers and the people I worked with. I will definitely visit again!!

Working three months as a bartender at the hostel was an unforgettable experience. Effie and her team welcomed me like family, creating a warm and supportive environment. I improved my bartending skills, learned about teamwork and customer service, and Effie was always kind and understanding. Time flew by, filled with valuable lessons, great connections, and unforgettable memories. Was a great experience at the hostel! Location is centric near to everything, staff is so kind, respectful and Effie is amazing. They have a bar also very cool. Definitely I will back there. They make you feel at home. Thank you Effie for everything :)

My volunteer experience here was a mix of good and bad. The host is sweet but not present as she manages a nearby bar. The location is great and the stay comfortable. Bicycles are available but old and damaged — if anything breaks, the staff may react aggressively. Work hours were fair, and meals included 3 slices of bread and 2 eggs daily, which you cook yourself. The staff atmosphere was unfriendly, and communication was difficult since only the manager speaks some English. I also received rude remarks from the manager. Strict house rules and limited kitchen access made it not enjoyable.

My experience at the hostel was more than incredible, they support you with any questions or concerns, I connected very well with the staff, little by little they became like family, I feel happy to have friends who are family in Bangkok, super well located, I love the atmosphere, it is always clean, the food they prepare is really delicious, I definitely recommend it a lot. Eternally grateful from the heart to you the hostel, I will be back very soon!!!

My experience at the hostel was amazing and I had a great time in Bangkok. The reception task is really easy and it's already organized so all you need is to follow the process and you only work for 4 hours per day. I worked in the morning shift from 7a.m so it was perfect for me to explore the city in the afternoon and evening. But there are other shifts from 11a.m or from 3p.m as well. I got to meet so many cool people from different parts of the world and we hang out together everyday. If you like socializing, i think the reception is really perfect for you!

It was the first volunteer experience of my life, and it was a wonderful experience. I was there for a month and a half. My workplace was the reception of the hostel, and the hours are very relaxed. Wave and Effie are very sweet, I recommend this place.
