The whole team makes you feel at home right away! You may learn a lot about all the processes involved in running a hostel and the huge complex of buildings is an experience in itself! I would do it again in a heart beat and Im sad to leave- good times!

One of the best experience in my life, meet the hostel and other cities in Scotland was an achievement, in the hostel I did good friendships, the peoples are very kind, helpfull and funny. It's nice could meet a lot of peoples from diferents places in the world, was good for my personal improvement. My farewell was sad, because i wanted stay more time in this amazing hostel and I'm so gratefull for this experience!

I wasn't expecting a lot about working in a hostel, but I got very impressed. The atmosphere of the place, the history and principally the staff made me feel at home. Well, I can say that now I have home in the hostel. I was very welcome and I learned a lot. Hervé and Laura are the best supervisors that someone can have. They are nice people that are ready to help with anything. I'm so grateful. The work is pretty easy. I'm sad to have to leave but I'm happy for the Amazing experience. Thank you so much for the lovely time in this amazing place and for my new friends! I'm going to miss you guys!

Great experience, nice people and place, I would definitely go back again, I have loved to enjoy this time over there. Share this experience with them. The hostel is very clean and the environment with the river very beautiful, the city is full of artistic penguins, and is close to several beautiful cities.

In this hostel you feel at home. It is a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world, make plans together and make many parties too. The work is very easy, it allows you to have a lot of free time to visit all the sites of Scotland. The management always try to help you as much as possible and make you comfortable in the hostel. It is the perfect place to stay for a long time. If I were you, I would not think about it. You will not regret being part of the family that I already miss it.

Surely the best month of my life! It is not just an old building how it seems if you read the description, you will feel at home since the first day. The staff is formed by people from around the world with the same motivation as you, travel, meet people, and enjoy their time in this amazing country; and the managers, Laura and Hervé, are like another partner. The work is very easy. The cleaning shifts usually take less than 3 hours and Laura try to put your tree days off together, which allows you to visit Scotland. The city, despite of not being too big, is lovely; and is well conected.

I loved to stay in this place! I was so happy with everything in here so I decided to extend my staying for a few days (because I already had another voluntearing booked). Job is super easy, I have plenty of free time, Laura and Hervé are so flexible with the scheddules that I managed to travel to other cities and get to know more of Scotland, I made a lot of friends in here from different parts of the world and I felt this place is a home for whoever decide to come. I would definetly come back to the hostel and volunteer in here for a longer period. I will miss everybody so much when I leave :(

Summarizing: I came to stay 1 month and I will be almost 2! Laura and Herve are great people and very attentive! The staff is a big family! The work is easy, we have a lot of free time to get to know the surroundings. The hostel is very well equipped and I'm feeling at home! You always find someone to chat but also find a place to stay by yourself if you prefer! I am writing this review still here, and now it's giving me a sadness to think that it will be over ... but it is a traveller's life, I will live new experiences and I hope that wonderful new people come here as well!
