I had an amazing experience as a volunteer in the hostel, Giulia is a super Host and the hostel is really nice place to be in La Spezia, Giulia is very helpful, she helped me to organize Italian classes and she were always so flexible about the working hours, La Spezia is quiet in the winter time but we managed to have some fun and see the culture and the ligurian life style, cinqueterre is so beautiful and so near, there is so many incredible hikings to do around, I really enjoyed the experience!

The place is very nice, clean, organised and in a very good location, close to everything! Giulia is such an incredible host, very flexible with thw shifts, always making sure we have enough time to explore Cinque Terre and La Spezia when the weather is good! The tasks are very simple and easy and she also helps a lot with everything we need! The other staff and volunteers were very nice and helpful and we had a great time there! I wish I could stay more because it was such an amazing opportunity!

My experience was amazing. The place is great, the staff is super friendly, a great environment. There's always an activity with the guests, this way everybody feels like home. I loved everybody I met there. The tasks are very easy and everybody is super helpful. I definitely recommend this experience, I really wanna come back during summer time!

The quality of the hostel is fantastic. The bathrooms are clean, the kitchen has all the cooking equipment and the atmosphere is great. I shared the room with the other two volunteers, so we had good space. As a volunteer, I helped with very simple tasks such as: check in, check out, organization of the hostel... During my stay, I also worked with other four other people who made all the difference in my life. Cesare and Giulia are sweet, creative and smart people. Tim and Minodora have an admirable sense of humor. Both of them have unique features that greatly facilitate team work. Thanks

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. Giulia and Cesare, the owners, Minodora, the cleaning lady, and Tim, the sexy English guy who works there were amazing. They were always willing to help you if you had any doubt about your tasks, which are very easy. They are very flexible with the shifts and make you feel comfortable. The hostel is in the city center and its facilities are very good. The volunteers I worked with were amazing and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better place to start my experience as a worldpacker!

I've said that so many times by now, but my experience at the hostel was the best I could have. From Cesare and Giulia (the owners) who are extremely thoughtful, generous and kind, to the other amazing volunteers who made it feel like one big family - we were always helping each other with the tasks (which are easy to do within the working hours), and then finally, the hot english man Tim who's just the cherry on top and Minidora (the cleaning lady) who is probably the candle! Other than that if you like nature, hiking and swimming, you wont be disappointed to stay at La Spezia ;)

For sure was the best decision I made. The hostel is amazing, they have a perfect structure for travelers, with great accommodation, an equipped kitchen and a friendly environment . Cesare and Giulia (the owners) are the kindest Italians ever, always taking care of guests and the staff! And also there are the most attractive English man that is part of the hostel's family, as well :P The tasks in general are easy and the staff is always helping each other to keep the hostel clean, organized and with happy guests! I'll always be thankful for the amazing time I'm having here!

Giulia, Cesare, Tim, Fabio and Gian Marco were so nice and generous. The hostel is perfect if you want to meet people but still live in a quiet environment. I could not have asked for a better first experience. :)
