La Experiencia
Come to Help! Stay for the fun! :) Our ecovillage needs your help and is willing to teach! With 9 acres in food production, including greenhouses, propagated gardens, food forests, animals areas and grazing space. Our garden area is set up in zones, with some plants needing much care and attention, many other varieties in the greenhouses, kitchen gardens, and with the more self-sufficient and less-often harvested plants are further away.

My stay at OUR has been enriching. I've learned a lot about organization and resource management, including time and personnel. I've also met wonderful, kind-hearted people from whom I've learned a great deal and continue to learn, and I'd love to keep learning. It's also a place where you can learn a tremendous amount about permaculture, wastewater treatment with its extensive wetland system, and natural building. They have many books, but the experience of Brandy and those who built this place is invaluable. I am very grateful.

We have been blessed to have such a kind-hearted, detail-oriented, inspiring & dedicated person to not only stay with us but choos to stay on longer sharing the holidays with us as well. His interest in learning everything is helpful and hopeful-you will find Daniel jumping into whatever is going on that is either exciting or even the no so fun projects that just need doing! Awesome in the kitchen, tidy and & so fun

My experience at OUR the eco village was incredible. From the very first day, you can feel the authenticity of the place, and Brandy (the host) is super kind, creating a real sense of community. The eco-sustainable approach and permaculture teach you so much because you experience them in every activity. I went hiking, connected with wonderful people, and found a very special connection with nature and with myself. It's a genuine, conscious, and truly transformative place.

Everyone you interact with feels your positive vibe & are inspired to work together on whatever project...no matter how tedious/tiring, if it is with you!! From transforming OUR strawberry field, rocking out the kitchen to helping with the barnyard chores/animals....you really touched so many projects & hearts in your stay with us. You are honest, committed, and very skilled at group facilitation and we appreciate you!

I'm extremely grateful for this experience to learn and grow as an individual and community member of OUR the eco village. Coming with an open mind I found my time here to be an eye-opening opportunity to practice a multitude of different skills to live more sustainably in unison with the land and people, not just related to the position I applied for. Even after my short month here I'm still reflecting on new aspects I want to implement in my life and looking forward to returning again in the future!

I've learnt about myself, the land and history. It's been an amazing time at the eco village and I'm sad to have to leave before winter. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Even in only 4 weeks I feel like this place has impacted me in a great way and I'm very grateful for that. I've met many lovely and interesting people here. It's a great place for meeting locals and you end up feeling at home pretty fast ❤️ Thanks to everyone at the eco village for such a beautiful time Fred

You have put your hand to so very many aspects of the farm, whether working on your own or in a group and you bring such heart and thoughtfulness to each task. We could not have done so many things without you and remain forever grateful. Hopig one day you make it back around for another visit one day into the future.....you will be so missed in the meantime.

Aprende sobre proyectos ecológicos y viaja con propósito. Recibe un certificado de finalización de este curso, aumenta tus posibilidades de aceptación por parte de anfitriones y amplía tus oportunidades de voluntariado, contribuyendo a un impacto positivo en el mundo durante tus viajes.
¿Cómo funcionan los viajes con Worldpackers?
Cuando eres miembro, te pones en contacto con anfitriones y viajas de forma segura cuantas veces quieras.
Elige tu plan para viajar con worldpackers las veces que quieras.
Completa tu perfil, asiste a las video-clases de la Academy y obtén certificados para destacar tu perfil con los anfitriones.
Solicita tantos lugares como quieras y habla con nuestros anfitriones verificados..
Si el anfitrion cree que encajas bien en el puesto, serás pre aprobado.
Prepara documentacion y pasajes necesarios para el voluntariado.
Confirma tu viaje para tener toda la seguridad de worldpackers.
Vive tu experiencia transformadora e impacta positivamente en el mundo.
Si algo sale mal durante la estancia, puedes contar con la Protección WP y con nuestro equipo de asistencia.
Después de tu voluntariado, tú y tu anfitrión intercambian reseñas.
