I loved my time at the hostel, Nadia and Luis were absolutely wonderful and the positioning is great. The hostel is right on the beach, where you can surf or chill on the dunes. Overall amazing time there.

The hosts are really nice and the tasks - cleaning the hostel - manageable. Everything is very cozy and clean. It's a good place if you want to go surfing as you get discounts on surf lessons. Unfortunately the place is a bit off and there aren't any buses. But it's very cool that you have the beach just in front of the hostel.

My time at the hostel was lovely. I enjoyed meeting other local and international guests and had a great time by the beach. Just a quick note that this volunteer opportunity does not have any days off which would make it challenging to see more of the country while volunteering. The location of the hostel is also about 5km from Peniche and Baleal where most of the surfing happens. Nonetheless, the daily workload is reasonable and I had a great time.

I had a nice time in the hostel. The hostel is located really close to the beach and is super chill and cozy. The work is as described and allowed for a lot of time to explore and enjoy Peniche and the beautiful nature surrounding it, or to surf;) Nádia and Louis are great hosts who make everyone feel welcome and included.

My time at the hostel was amazing! Nádia and Luis are super nice and caring. The work was fair, it's only a few hours per day, and there is a team of helpers, so i never had to work alone. The ocean is right in front of the hostel, and there were almost everyday some waves to surf in the spots nearby. I am so glad I did the adventure!

What a great experience! The Hosts are super nice and it felt like a family. I really recommend to choose this hostel! It's more like a small hotel with 30 beds. I'll come again and visit! Thank you for everything!

Really enjoyed my time in the hostel! The hosts Nadia and Luis are very kind, they are always there if you need anything. The work is fair, about 2.5 hours of work per day in the morning and the rest or the day is yours. Concolacao is a quaint and quiet village, very good to relax and recharge. You also have access to bikes which makes it easier to go to Peniche or Baleal if you want a bit more action. Ideal if you just want to chill and surf :)

I was here for 2 months and loved every moment! Nádia and Luis are so friendly and helpful and I have some amazing memories here! We worked on average 3/4 hours a day, there is no days off a week but once you are done cleaning at around lunch time the rest of the day is free for whatever you want to do so it didn't feel too much. The area is very beautiful and not too busy with tourists, I recommend watching the sunset on the sand dune right outside the hostel :) Plus: - Surf lesson discount - Free use of bikes and a surfboard for helpers to use - Cosy hammock :)

I absolutely loved the experience in the hostel !! The hosts, Nádia and Luis are so friendly and lovely and the hours of working are completely fine. I made some new friends and had really nice conversations with guests from all over the world. It's a really nice atmosphere in this hostel and I would come back every time :) Thank you for this nice experience! 🥰

This was my first volunteering position and I really loved it. The work is really fair and usually there is lots of free time. Luis and Nádia are really kind and alway there for a good laugh. I can higly recommend them and I will definitely come back! Wish you all the best guys.
