En el hostel fue mi primer voluntariado y ha sido excelente mi estadía mejor de lo que esperaba , las tareas súper sencillas y respetando el horario , muy buena ubicación y la terraza tiene una vista hermosa … Si buscas hacer un voluntariado no dudes en este hostel la gente que trabaja aquí es un amor totalmente recomendable!!! Mi experiencia en el hostel fue excelente, comencé voluntariando y después me dieron la oportunidad de trabajar en el hostel, la cual acepte porque el ambiente y las personas que trabajan en el mismo me hicieron sentir en casa desde el día uno. Con respecto al voluntariado, cumplen con lo acordado, las actividades son relajadas, flexibles y el desayuno que brindan es completo. Gaspar además de ser una persona buena onda es paciente, siempre esta dispuesta a ayudar y explicarte las cosas las veces que sea necesario. Siempre voy a estar agradecida :) lo recomiendo 100 %.

As a social media manager, my stay was just wonderful! Lots of flexibility and a very relaxed schedule. Both the team and other volunteers are the sweetest people, always ready to help and share their experiences! The hostel location is probably the best in the whole city. Lots of social life every single day, not to mention the cutest monkeys on the terrace :)

Even though I was only there for 1.5 weeks, it was an amazing time. The staff, the guests, and the other volunteers were all incredible, and there was such a relaxed and positive atmosphere in the hostel. It's very easy to meet people, and everyone is always going out together. I worked at the bar, which was quite busy at times but really relaxed most of the time. I would definitely recommend the hostel, and I can't wait to be back. Thank you for everything!

I stayed here for a month and a half and it was fantastic!!! I worked in the bar which was lots of fun. The work hours are very nice. I worked from 5pm to 11pm, one day on one day off. The staff are very friendly and helpful with anything in the hostel and around Rio. Definitely made somw good friends while being here. The hostel is also very nice, the rooftop is a perfect place to relax and the facilities are good. The parties are lots of fun and working in the bar you'll meet a lot of people and be right in the action. I highly recommend!!

I feel freaking lucky to have this opportunity to volunteer here. Probably, I've met the best people in my life so far. I'd never believe I'd make so many friends from different countries, stay in Copacabana, and learn how to make real caipirinha… Being a bartender here always feels more like having fun, not a hard job, right? Good facilities, lovely people, flexible schedule, the best location, parties together, and splendid rooftop will stay forever in my heart! The only disadvantage is to leave it for another city, but I'll definitely come back! Grateful ☺️

Adoreiiii minha experiência no hostel! O pessoal que trabalha lá é super gente boa e faz você se sentir parte da equipe desde o primeiro dia. O voluntariado é ótimo, o acordo é cumprido direitinho e ainda tem vários benefícios que fazem a experiência do rio muito melhor. O anfitrião é super atento, sempre disponível e com uma energia incrível. Super recomendo pra quem quer viver uma experiência bacana no Rio!

I've never met so many cool people in one place, the staff are such incredible and kind people that are so easy to get along with! The work itself is very easygoing and I was able to continue working online. I really appreciated having breakfast, laundry, tours, parties and drinks included as this helps to save a lot of money and fully enjoy the city! The vibe of the hostel is great, I love that everyone goes out together and genuinely enjoys each other's company, I feel that I have made friends for life here! Part of my heart will always be in Rio and I know I will be back! Muito obrigada <3

Totally recommend to anyone! I worked at the bar, it can be busy sometimes but most of the time it's very very relaxed. The bar is very small, so it's very quick to learn and get comfortable. The host, employees, and other volunteers are all awesome and everyone is very friendly. Do recommend speaking at least SOME Portuguese! Great practice The volunteer dorm is comfortable, with solid AC, and the bathroom is inside the dorm. The facilities overall could use some updating - but as I've been here for 5 weeks over that time they've made updates as well, so it seems like an ongoing process.

I had a great experience at the hostel! Everything was exactly as expected and agreed upon, nothing was misleading or different from what was promised. The hostel is very well located in a safe area, which made me feel comfortable during my stay. I really appreciated being able to enjoy all the tours the hostel offered for free to volunteers, it was a big bonus and made my time there even more enjoyable. Luckily, I was part of a truly lovely group of volunteers, which made the experience even more special. It was my first time volunteering, and I highly recommend it!
