I had my first stay with Worldpackers at the hostel and it was an absolute dream. I would definitely recommend this hostel! From A to Z, everything in this hostel is perfect. I had the best scrambled eggs in my life every day for breakfast. The location is perfect and you can go on lots of excursions. The staff at this hostel have a lot of heart and it was simply wonderful to be able to work with such great people. Thank you so much for giving me so many new experiences and adventures - i will never forget them. If I ever come back to Cartagena, I would love to work here again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hostel. I met so many diverse and wonderful people; everyone, both staff and guests, were incredibly welcoming and kind. Working in the kitchen was a pleasure, with just four hours of work each day, leaving plenty of time to explore and relax. I wish I could have stayed longer, but another opportunity awaited. When I fell ill before leaving, they graciously allowed me to stay until I was well enough to travel. Thank you for the lovely experience—I hope to return soon!

I volunteered for two weeks at the hostel behind the bar and it was overall a pretty chill volunteer experience and the work wasn't very difficult. It is a pretty social position if you are interested in meeting many international travelers. The volunteers all sleep in the biggest dorm in the hostel with other guests. You can also meet many people from Cartagena who are employees at the hostel and they are all very nice and friendly. The weather can get very hot and humid during the day and you have a good amount of time to explore the city outside of the hostel.

This experience at the hostel was amazing, I met so many people from all around the world and was able to really practice my Spanish! I worked at the bar so it was very chill work and I learned how to make cocktails. The hostel is really nice (but it can get very very hot) and the other volunteers were so nice, really recommend if you want to volunteer in Cartagena !

Volunteering at the hostel Cartagena was one of the best decisions I made while travelling. I was able to meet so many nice people, many of whom I will stay in contact with in the future. I connected with many other international volunteers as part of the team and they improved my experience massively. The hostel is clean and tidy and the free amenities provided by the host were perfect. The hours were always agreed upon prior to arrival and stuck to, with no confusion or negative changes, which leaves many free hours during the day to do anything you want. Muchisimas gracias to everyone!

My experience at the hostel has been incredible! The hostel is beautiful and exactly as pictured. The staff is welcoming and friendly. It is in the center of centro with lots to do and see. There is a 20% discount on everything in the hostel and some events are even free! The tasks are simple enough but the organization could be improved a bit. Thank you to Jhoan, Gaby and Ronnie especially for making my time even more special. Almost all the guests are from various countries in Europe and are very social. The beds are closed and have a light and charger and the rooms have AC.

I had lots of fun working here for 3 weeks! The hostel has a great vibe and the work is very relaxed and the hours are clear and respected. Would be a bit difficult to do if one doesn't speak any Spanish as all the information and instructions given to volunteers is only in Spanish. Overall I had a great time and would definitely recommend this hostel. Gracias por Todo the hostel!

The hostel is super nice and in the middle of the historical center. This is by far the nicest volunteer dorm I had at a hostel volunteer place. The vibes are good!
